mine works well, just a small power cord problem. unit only works when not grounded

Hey, would you mind letting knowa couple things in reference to the unit.
1. What’s the sqft you’re cooling with ac?
Did you use their chart to figure out what size unit you needed to purchase?
2. If I heard you correctly, you’re in Canada, what’s the setting you’ve been having the ac set on?
In the last 3mo any significant increase to the utility or compared to this time last year, should be on current bill, the usage rate?
I’m not trying to get into your personal business, I’m in S. Louisiana, not only is it hotter than hell here, but it’s more humid than anyone can imagine & then some! I’m just trying not to waste money that’s all! I appreciate any feedback!

i have this canadian model and works great for a low price, just over $200 US. Electric cord could be a foot longer, else ok.

why can't you show us how to empty the unit and let us know when it needs to be emptied?
Because I haven't had to do it myself but I'll be sure to make a video if I do. I just uploaded a short about it with reference to the manual do check it out.
The challenging part is the window part. How come you did not include that?

Found the video but it’s for a tilt window. The slider doesn’t fit in a horizontal window. Do I need to cut it?
For a horizontal/vertical, you do need to cut it in order to fit it perfectly in your window. I'm sure you can find many tutorials on here for a vertical/horizontal window. Best of luck!
how cold can it get does it feel like when you open the fridge
You can set it all the way down to 16C and let me tell you, it does feel like the fridge!

Do you have to empty the tray in air conditioner mode?
So the manual says the condensate water collected in ac mode is used to cool the condensor and exhausted through the hose. And I haven't had to drain it so far so I'd say that's pretty accurate
@@MrTechSpective Yes u do.When the tank is full it will shut off automatically.Drain then use as normal
do you have to empty any water from the unit?
Not on fan or ac mode

What do you do with the 40 pints?
I haven't used the dehumidifier setting and didn't have to drain on other settings
