    Sufjan Stevens switches time signatures in his songs a lot. His song "All Delighted People" goes from 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 7/4 and 7/8. He makes it sound very natural.

      that's interesting! I have not analyzed Sufjan yet. Maybe I should do one!

    The anyone trying to replicate the drums - I think his most common polyrhythm is a 4:3, was trying to figure out how to get that sound for a while and got it down tonight, I would recommend watching some real drummers drum it as well to understand it better, but 4:3 feels right

      Wow this is such an awesome comment that provides a lot of value.
      Appreciate the time you took to state this.
      What did you do in the end that helped you with getting a grasp of using polyrhythms in your music?

    • @TitanDCSGO
      @TitanDCSGO 4 месяца назад +1

      @@brokenenglishprod I’m still pretty amateur at using them tbh but it was watching how drummers implement different ones into songs, because they would play the ones that actually sound good and explain afterwards most of the time, helped me get a feel for what type of groove I could go for if I did certain things etc
