I would LOVE to have an end update. Like a new mob vote and that could spawn only in the end, new grass, wood, leaves. Not a whole lot but just something like what happened in the nether.
And editable signs and the ability to lock them so that they are like how they used to be if you want
The update comes out in the next few weeks (probably in early June) - (This video is a gameplay trailer of the features released by the official minecraft account, but some parts I edited myself... but all things are officially coming to the game)

if 1.21 is more of a joke I admjtl that the nether update was the only one that surpassed itself
many people say this update is the worst considering when it was first announced the features offered were very few but after some time mojang announced more features to come until update 1.20 which was originally called the worst update turned into the best update loved by the MC community and I think update 1.20 is more better than update 1.19 because even though it's smaller, there's no cancellation of features and more quality improvements. there will be more surprises that will be given by mojang to the community in the following updates.

Wasn't the reaction simply because many people were completly ignorant and uncaring to the statement, that mojang was deliberatly only showing those features, which were already sure to be implemented to the game?

I have every achievement on console cant wait for more to unlock
Ever since caves and cliffs mojang just seems to be adding more things just for the sake of adding them. Nobody on the planet asked for archelology or armor trims, yet here they are. Their only purpose is to make the game more complex even though the whole reason minecraft was popular was because of it's simplicity. And another thing, you don't need to add a new massive biome every single update. FIrst mangrove now the cherry biome. It's just another wood type that's going to make building harder because of too many choices.

this game just feels like an extremely modded minecraft game with these updates. I hate it.
Man, by the looks of it, this update looks really lacking compared to the changes made in 1.16 and 1.18...

only the camel , the new biome and the ruins are something new to the game all the other is just decoration to ,. this update shoud be named decoration update .the new ruins are so bad made man wtf is this ? Add castles ruins or something else not random terracota everywhere. ADD NEW THINGS THAT THEY ARE USEFULL NOT DECORATIONAL ONLY!

It just feels like a bunch of features with shallow dead ends to be added. Archeology is gonna have exceedingly rare items that don't really grant you much, armor trims are just rare bling that adds no bonuses.
Mojang keeps adding features to the game that give the illusion of deep content and platforms of ideas (Beekeeping, Archeology like in the trailer) where it will be a whole knew feature with endless possibilities for it's uses only to be used for a few items that are either just cosmetic or plain not worth it for the effort. It's frankly annoying to see Mojang feature creep when already a bunch of features we already have are super shallow.
If this is all that is coming for the update I am deeply offended
In addition to what was shown in the video, there will be a new sculk sensor, a new buried archeology structure called trail ruins and also two new plants...
Unfortunately this update brought only decorative things in general

The whole update just doesn't seem very cohesive. I love new Minecraft, I've been playing since I was eight and enjoyed caves and cliffs, the whole nether update, the villagers, all the new animals, but this update just doesn't seem very harmonic or immersive. Like a bag of loose change and buttons :/

Mojang said this update have been 1.21 but because them taked a lot of time to done from cave an cliffs update
And 1.18 had been 1.19 and 1.19 had been 1.20 but mojang take a much more time to done from this

am i the only one that hates the sniffer mob
I'm sorry but they're adding waaayyyyy too much animation to these new mobs, like one of minecraft's defining characteristics is the classic stiff walking of everything, the camel I can get past even though I wish only it's head moved like a horse, especially since the player looks goofy riding it because the player doesn't also sway side to side, but the sniffer is waaayyyyyyy too animated, it's to the point where it feels like a mod that doesn't feel like minecraft, heck mods that add new creatures that have way more animation like jurissicraft or something feel more like minecraft than the sniffer

Bring back the old Jukebox with background music. Fix your Animation. The creative mode looks like survival mode. Fix you animation of destroy and use block in mine or craft. Can be copied to V1.19.20 and to become V1.20.20
