An absolute stunning beauty, by yesterday's standards, today's standards, or 50 years from now. Beauty like hers is timeless.

I’m glad you liked the video and discovered Alice White. If you like to see her in a film, I’d suggest “Employees’ Entrance” (1933). She’s not the lead, but has a lot of screen time and is quite adorable and funny.

Unfortunately for White her film career was tarnished by a scandal that erupted over her involvement with boyfriend actor Jack Warburton and future husband Sy Bartlett. She and screenwriter Sidney Bartlett were accused of arranging the beating of British actor John Warburton. Alice and Warburton had a love affair that ended when he beat her so badly she required cosmetic surgery. A grand jury in Los Angeles decided not to charge Bartlett or White. Although she later married Bartlett, her reputation was irrevocably stained and she appeared only in supporting roles after this. By 1937 and 1938, her name was at the bottom of the cast lists. What a waste!

Compared with Clara Bow, I guess Alice White is underrated. By today`s standard, she is really charming.
