What would you do when you think no one is watching? What Would You Do? (WWYD?) explores the varying answers with the help of hidden cameras capturing individuals who have been placed within seemingly everyday situation that quickly go ary. The individuals on this hidden camera show are forced to make tough calls when directly faced with situations of racism, violence, hate crimes, and other hot button cultural issues. Catch John Quinones reporting on these individuals as they make split-second decisions to intervene or mind their own business. WWYD? airs Friday nights at 9|8c on ABC.
What Would You Do? (WWYD) is a hidden camera show, hosted by ABC News correspondent John Quinones, in which unknowing bystanders are placed in uncomfortable, and often compromising real world scenarios in public. WWYD’s hidden cameras focus on the average person’s responses and reactions to these issues of social responsibility. Topics such as gay couples being affectionate in public, date rape, racism and racial profiling, interracial couples, abusive parents, drunk driving, and harassment of the homeless are touched upon in this series. Same, I did not like her saying that at all. She was just being herself and didn't even do anything "special" to draw attention to her skin. Most people wear cropped tops nowadays and they don't get called out for "showcasing" their skin. Having vitiligo doesn't mean she can't wear whatever she likes or that she has to go and cover up every inch of her body.

My grandmother has vitiligo and has raised me since birth, so I never seen it as a problem or something "scary." My grandfather told me how on their first date in the 70s people stared at her and made creeped faces. My grandfather finally got fed up and yelled "what the fuck you looking at?! Anyone got a problem with my girl?? Come tell me your problem!" Grandma was embarrassed, but she said it was the first time someone stood up for her like that.

Its well-known more than before that vitiligo isn't a contagious disease. I think she herself is selfconcious of her looks and had a very conservative upbringing, that's why she said that. If you already have problems with people looking at you, you wouldn't want people to see that skin condition. I think that vitiligo is GORGEOUS! I’ve seen multiple people with it and the way it differs from person to person makes the person who has it super unique! I think anyone who has it should be proud!
My mom has it and I have seen this kind of treatment of her. It's dehumanizing. I always thought it was unique and beautiful.

My dad has this skin condition. He used to care so much about his body but ever since it got worse and started spreading all over his face he just stopped caring about his health and looks. He says he's uncomfortable going to family gatherings with our relatives and has given up on buying his dream glasses saying they wouldn't look good on him because of his face...

I grew up with extreme eczema- my skin was so dry, cracked and discolored that it looked like literal alligator scales 😬 Winnie was such an inspiration bc even though I don’t have vitiligo, she showed me that you are so much more than just your skin and what it shows! Me too. I had to start immunosuppressants at age 8 it was so severe, painful and causing massive infections. Been on immunosuppressants now for 24 years. I've even had sepsis from my eczema when my body is basically an open wounds that cracked and bled whenever I moved. That's happened a lot. Had lots of steroids like prednisone in my lifetime too. And wet dressings all the time. Using my hands can get very painful and cooking and cleaning becomes impossible. I get very self conscious when I know people are looking at it, but much less than I used to. I'm sorry you've had such a hard time with skin disease too.

He couldn't help it and tried to educate people about it but people made fun of him and spread terrible belittling rumors about it. I am a henna artist from Malaysia .. i've witnesed this situation myself when my customer with vitiligo wanted to get henna on her hand .. she apologize to me because of her skin and i was like .. i was really sad because its nothing to be sorry of .. i did henna on her for free , im just happy with her beautiful smile in return . i just hope she doesn't have to face this thing anywhere at all .

This was beautiful! I wish they would do one on Psoriasis! I had a familiar experience with mine that made me feel horrible... It's not contagious and one of only places I felt so judged was in nail salon.... I left so upset by the treatment, Respect those suffering from a disease they can't control 🙌🏻❤️🙌🏻
My husband has Ankylosing Spondylitis and as a result he gets patches of psoriasis, one time he was in the gym with me and a man was staring at his legs in horror! Really pissed me off!!

@@Annoxii_ Well. Imagine all the colors in the world but you just see grey, nothing but grey. my color blindness developed over time and I can say that it can be kind of depressing going from seeing color to not seeing it but you get used to it.

I wish we all had vitiligo, everyone with a certain design, and sometimes a particular design runs in the family and becomes almost like a family emblem. No black, no white, but everyone in black and white would be so cool.

Ohh wow...I thought the same when I was little. There was a lady with this condition in our residential area and every time I went out, I use to look around to find her and see her. It became a kind of little game for me. I found it so fascinating and special.
