I'm a Yankee, and I can attest that I was amazed. We built a custom dish drying cabinet into our kitchen in the U.S. when remodeling. It's the greatest.
Bidet shower isn't weird! That should be common in all countries.
Actually you can also find it in our countries, but it's not as common as in Finland.
It took me 3 month to understand that they have a separate vessanpönttö for the same thing in spain. 🙄🤔 Great thing to have it instead of taking a shower, but, really i’d rather usevthis space for something else.. Like for building a world’s tinest sauna 😄
Well, it is weird that you have to turn on the faucet first - should be connected to its own plumbing so when you press it just releases the water, like any other place lol - but agree, it should be common everywhere!
Laatikoiden leikkuulaudan päällä säilytän noita irtoleikkuulautoja, pysyy hyvin tallessa siellä eikö ole tiellä. Muuta hyötyä en tuosta laatikon leikkuulaudasta löydä, ellei siinä ole päällä toista, raollista lautaa leivänleikkuuseen (murut tippuu laudan rakoihin).
Olet yhtä fiksu kuin me, teemme samoin. 😁

Moro! Tehkää video siitä miten olette oppineet suomenkielen, mutta suomalaiset alkaakin puhua värssyjä, mistä et olekkaan enään varma mistä se puhuu. Esim: Selvä pyy, totta munassa, tuli tupenrapinat, kuin apteekin hyllyltä, luulo ei ole tiedon väärti, ojasta allikkoon, menee päreet, kun kukko tunkiolla jne...

I visited Finland for the first time last summer, and rented an "economy apartment" in Rovaniemi. I have to admit that I was amazed by the cabinet where you can drain washed dishes!

@@almostfinns pieni vihje ääntämiseen: muistakaa ääntää jokaista tavua, jokaisessa sanassa yhtä paljon, ääntäkää aina pitkä vokaali pitkänä, lyhyt vokaali lyhyenä, pitkä konsonantti pitkänä, lyhyt konsonantti lyhyenä. Ja tämän päälle vielä: paino AINA ensimmäisessä tavussa. Suomen kieltä pitää ääntää kuin robotti 😊🤖

The best way to use bidet shower is to jam it on with some tape and then aim it so that the next person washing his hands will get a freezing shower to his groin. 100% fun.

@@almostfinns If u planing part 2 this came to my mind. On gas stations if u refill u cannot lock the nozzle, u must always hold the thing until its finished. Also when -20 degrees.
Outside doors always open to outside. Traffic lights are a few meters back, so its easier to see. Without minimum 3 loyalty cards you are a nobody in Finland.
@@elduderino7516 Outside doors always open outwards because there were a few devastating incidents in history where a fire started during church service (or people simply thought so) and a lot of people were crushed to death when a panicking mass packed against the inward opening church doors.

Se "leikkuulauta" ei itse asiassa olekaan leikkuulauta, vaan 𝙡𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖lauta. Koko lauta siis otetaan ulos keittiötason päälle, ja siitä vaan leipomaan!
Ei edelleenkään silti käy oikein järkeen xD
Se on liian pieni ja vaikeasti irroitettava, irtonaiset, muoviset leikkuulaudat on jees. Meillä kun tehtiin keittiöremppa ylimmästä laatikosta ei todellakaan löydy enää sitä helekatin puulautaa
Itseasiassa leivontalauta on eri asia, eikä niitä enää useinkaan näe keittiöissä. Leivontalauta on semmonen iso, melkeen metrin kanttiinsa ja on sijainnut ennen kaapiston sivussa pystyssä, kuitenki osana kaapistoa niin että siinä on samanlainen etuosa mitä muissa kaapeissa ja laatikoissa. Meillä oli aikoinaan kyseinen kapistus rivitaloasunnossa, enkä sen jälkeen ole törmänny. Siinä oli hyvä pienenä rakentaa palapelejä, ei menny palat hukkaan. :D

Leikkuulauta on hyvä. Mä käytän sitä koko ajan. Ja sitä paitsi se on hygieeninen, koska se on tehty puusta. Toisin kuin tuo muovinen mitä näytitte videossa. Sekä sen SAA helposti irti, jos haluat pestä sen. :)

I think I've seen all of that in Swedish homes.. except the butt-cleaner. And the chopping board was detachable for easy cleaning. That isn't much better, though.

What is wrong with the leikkulauta ? I think it is very smart invention, you can wash it easily by removing the drawer and then let it sit for 10min to dry on the kitchen table, and put it back to its place. I like it actually!!
For some cultures that käsisuihku is very important, when I visited France there was no toilet with this invention, disappointing!.

Good you like it and use it. We guess that many Finns don't use it because in some cases you need a screwdriver to remove the chopping board, which is not very practical. And if the apartment is rented, usually the board is in very bad condition. Thank you very much for your comment and support! 😊😉
I dont use the leikkuulauta, because i am always worried that i break it. it feels so flimsy!

@@almostfinns No need for a screwdriver. Just pull the whole thing out, rinse and air dry. Then just put it back. You can also straighten the front part just by lifting it a little and then let it fall/bend. Much easier to cut bread etc.

In India it is really common to see a bidet shower but toilet paper is really rare.
That's interesting. In Europe and America the first thing that people bought when this pandemia started was toilet paper. What was it in India?

There are toilet papers in every Finnish toilet as well.
