I remember that i was in junior school when my friend told me about Mount and Blade (should be .808 or .753 ?). Solid game with cool combat mechanics. It was the mods that gave it life along with the community. (Star Wars, Warhammer, Greek-Persian wars... you name it). A game that a Greek magazine gave it only 58%, but i was obsessed with it... we've come a looong way since then ! Most definately i'm gonna get it ! The ARMA of rpg games.

The game looks amazing (especially the coloring and graphics really makes the atmosphere so much more grittier and authentic!) and the mechanics are so much more improved. Now its multiple point entry, with so many defensive and offensive emplacements!!! This is going to be awesome!
Artem, for next viking video, you MUST use soundtracks made by Danheim! It can be so epic to watch vikings raid with that soundtrack :D. Great video, once again, don't stop bro, keep feeding us with this fire, soon we will unleash it, when Harvesting Season begins haha

There are many people here unaware of the fact that the AI in these videos are almost non existant because its a multiplayer beta mod not singleplayer itself. You will see the real ai on 31st march. @artem maybe you should put that warning at the beginning of the video otherwise youre giving false impression on people about how the game works.

Hey Artem one nice touch would be to add the soldiers cheering each time the ram hits before the gate collapses and they all start celebrating, and for a "Heave, ho!" type shout coming from the ram as it moves to the wall.
You know what would be cool if the losing soldier’s side can defect and start helping you if they are trapped and hope is lost or the opposite they help the enemy
Slight amendment: Instead of that happening in battle, have that happen outside of battle where in the night, a defector opens the gates and starts a different battle scenario where a small handful of your troops sneak in and attack at night.

Artem no my friend they are slavic not nordic. Check the new unit designes and forum topics to see that. Nords are not in calradia yet. Sturgians are the forefathers of the vaegirs. Later on nords will invade their northern shores

I have one concern tho about how AI is doing collision effect and also how it behaves. It seems that it's not very dynamic and they don't really do much about defending (like throwing stones) the castle, they are just blobed and waiting the attackers, in fight it's seems like Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator. hope it's not gonna be like this in SP. Nonetheless, very nice content Artem, keep going.
On the "Official Siege Videos" as you said, you really can't tell how AI is performing, one of the reason is that, it was exclusively recorded just to show back in 2016 how it would look like. By watching recent videos about AI and sieges even on beta stage it seems nothing like it, but Collision Effect is another matter. I just hope it's only a Beta thing.
Keep in mind that (as far as I understand it) this is a mod of a beta with AI troops on siege maps destined for multiplayer, so most likely the terrain and castle and things of the sort aren't mapped properly for the AI etc... Maybe they'd fare much better on maps destined for the single player that are properly coded and mapped for AI, we shall see. Also the fact that while the game releases on the 31st, it'll still be Early Access so technically the game is still in development. While that usually is a very bad sign, I have some trust in TW to tweak and change things as they go, including AI behaviour and deliver a quality product at the end of it.
Gimli there were some official siege videos last year too, you have to watch and read the blogs, this is just a mod sort of a gimmick , no AI whatsoever for the opposite side, its simply a map , the released game would be much better
@@Hadhon it's the collision effects from the commander battle AI not what the actual siege AI collision will look like on the EA it's just a mod bassicaly with broken mechanics
What angers me is no faction is clearly the nords in Bannerlord but we have a clear veiger faction. I WANT CLEAR NORD/VIKING UNITS LIKE THE SEA RAIDERS!

I noticed that there was some empire soldiers helping the vikings is that a future or a bug
They defected! (No seriously though, must be some kind of bug I also noticed it lol :-D)
I think they took shields from the dead empire soldiers.
not a bug but a feature that if their shield is broken, they will take the shield from the dead, have been seeing it for few weeks

I would love that the imperial troop would use actual formation, that officers would relay orders, ect. A bit like TotalWar
S'Aarum in the actual game there are formations and you have the option to order sergeants to take command of units

These units are custom made, though the nords in bannerlord is going to be the sturgian faction!

You can siege other castles in the singleplayer campaign :-)
Checking mount and blade warband gameplays will give you an idea on how this series works.

You should really watch the official siege videos before formulating your concerns.
