absolute pleasure from gaultier. Best squash ive seen from the frenchman. Usually his mental side brings him down whenever hes losing, not to mention being 2-0 down. But this time he gave it his best and levelled it all at 2-2. Great squash from the artist as well.
Cada vez que veo un partido de Gaultier, se que es áspero, pero noble. Hace años que no juego y los jugadores egipcios son top, como fueron los jugadores Pakistaníes y Australianos en los 80's
At 4:45 you can see that Gaultier puts his hand at Ashour, just implifying his his hitting position. In general, how's the practice with that kind of contact? I think it's ok, but I play with some that don't appreciate it.. :-)
I keep watching these highlights thinking I can't possibly see a better match than some that have gone before ... and I'm proven wrong again and again.
I dont know much about squash, ive played it once waaaaay back. but the point at 7:51 I have a ? about. I know you arent supposed to block your oppenant from the ball(or whatever its called, sorry) however, what if a player tends to block his opponent on purpose, what happens, and im not saying a flat out block but subtle blocks..
+hoss011 Gaultier remains the 'striker' (a defined term in the rules) until the ball leaves the front wall. If you watch freeze-frames you will see that Ashour is running into Gaultier as Gaultier's shot is hitting the front wall. Ramy positioned himself poorly because of his loose shot and thus created his own interference -- no let, sorry That aside, if the referee considers a player is 'blocking', that player can be warned or even have a stroke awarded against him
Revisiting the classics. Unbelievable squash, what an era.
Unreal era. I like the current era too but the top matches from 7 or so years ago were a different level.
1:00, I think Ramy was thinking: 'Let's finish this rally real quick, my shoe is untied'.
ralphie19831 I know it seems so casual "whoops, ah well if I just whip in a nick I can tie it up" xD
ahahahhaa

I agree, He is a man who's battle hardened over the years. Come through players like Palmer, Power, White, and perfected his craft.
6:07 "Move Shakira!".
In french : "bouge tes pieds la"
It's like : "moves you're foot know"
I'm sorry but I can't take Gaultier seriously when he screams, it's too funny.😂😂
Two of the best ever players using all their experience. Fantastic.
love watching the artist play, he seems to have so much charisma
Thanks for the highlight~~ love it
Best match of the tournament. Hands down!
i hope ramy continues to play the he does and he looks so sharp 👍
Three things that are certain in life:
1. Death
2. Taxes
3. Gaultier losing a fifth game from fatigue
+sparrow123 HAHAHAHAHA So true!
+sparrow123 except against Farag!!, and this tounament first round with Pilley
Andres Fernandez Cabrera What if Farag and Hesham played :O
sparrow123 hahah
He is mid-30s, which has to be a disadvantage?
Slamdunk squash....truly one of the best matches ever played.
Ashour is fun to watch playing....he is a shot taker
what a match! This is some serious squash.
One of the best matches ever
11 minute highlight reel?? Should've just given us the whole match!! Well done to Ashour! Such a pleasure to watch on the court!
+Joshua Waring And your wish was granted. Can't complain anymore can you.
+jumustube I wasn't complaining. Just making a suggestion!

So good to see two players actually playing...instead of trying to get get stroke all the time ....
Wow. Just wow.
simply the best
"I love it! I Love it!.. Top shpin!" :D
Amazing game .

I keep watching these highlights thinking I can't possibly see a better match than some that have gone before ... and I'm proven wrong again and again.
guys watch this at 0.5 speed. It is hilarious!!!! the commentators sound so bored
instant classic
"HOW?" - 'He's the chosen one" ... The Matrix @ Ramy Ashour
Finally!
when will ramy and mohammedvplay today and how can i see the match live pleas
It's gotta be the shoes!
Why was there no Turn yes let ruling at 3:55? Striker did look for opponent, but I don't think the rules care about that.
I love Ramy in those days.
Excuse my ignorance, but why do players always touch the wall at the end of a rally ? Looks very mysterious to me...
They're wiping the sweat off their hands so that it doesn't affect their grip
Thanks a lot! I understand now. So far I lose my rallies too fast to sweat.
Yalla Rammy!!!
Gutted for Gaultier!! He was tired in the end
good

+Peter Eedy Squash looks like a fantastic sport! I'm thinking about trying it out some day! 😀
Ramy had to tie his shoelace so he put the ball into the nick :D
Ashour has gained a lot of weight from not playing. Usually is really skinny
+LJmusic Muscle ;)
On youtube watching squash videos, every damn time Gaultier lose.. wtf
