Would have loved to see Pat vs Hesham. Can't fair the effort from the 'bagy brothers in their new colors either. Congrats to Egypt, well deserved with absolutely huge depth in that talent pool.
Five Egyptians and one Englishman, and the Egyptians won, who would have thought. Some great play as per usual with these boys. Good to see Asal playing with control of himself.
Ali farag and Mostafa Asal are elite players and played nothing short of elite games. England has long secured its place in the finals only with their native players but anyways congratulations to the Egyptian team, very well deserved.
I think a lot of people are very happy to see Asal playing without leg trailing, contacts and arguments. To all Asal's supporters (a shout to Maddox), the supposed conspiracy from all other players suddenly lost ground. And Asal can win clean and that's great for the sport
Great match from Farag considering his illness and kudos to Asal’s maturing behavior. Such a shame seeing England in the finals but not with English players though. England is much better than this.
@@firstwavenegativity6379what are you on bro? 😂 Elshorbagy brothers grew up in Egypt they just moved to England in 2 years before , they were in Egyptian national team lol
@@mordakaiser.3423 I don't know about Marwan but I'm fairly sure Mo moved to England when he was 15/16, and he's now 31/32? So half his life and his entire adult life.
It was a bit strange watching this knowing that if Mo couldn't get the win against Farag, Rooney wouldn't end up playing at all and therefor, no English players playing. Not that I've got anything against Mo and Marwan wanting to represent England, just seems a massive shame how little English players have played in this event.
I am very happy for Egypt but even more so for the ridiculous mistake of both England and the Shorbagy brothers (especially Marwan). England has plenty of players to be able to compete without having to bring in "signings"
I don't know if you saw the interview, but Mo said he felt like Egypt was not really showing appreciation for him, so he moved to another team. I guess Marwan decided to follow. Maybe Egypt should have listened to him more closely. I kinda doubt he was expecting the world of pampering.
@@TRAK740 Ye I think Mo moved to England to train under Jonah Barrington when he was 15/16, so he's spent half his life and his entire adult life here. I think it's fine under those circumstances to decide to represent England.
Very unfortunate to see games finishing on questionable referees calls. But that seems to be squash these days. Even well informed top players can't tell what the outcome of decisions are going to be. May as well toss a coin. WSF needs to go back to policy of more Yes Let.
Well done Egypt... no complaints...but the "No Let" call about 2.30 seemed very harsh. Would be great if the justification could be somehow added on for tyros like me. 🤔
If you watch Shorbagy you'll see he momentarily thinks Asal hit the ball cross-court. He stops his movement to move left and turns his head to center looking for the ball, then realizes his mistake. He runs into Asal as he tries to move back to the right, not really knowing where the ball is headed on that side of the court. The second bounce of the ball is almost all the way to the back of the court so he should've moved behind Asal instead at that point.
squash should be called an Egyptian sport💯

By that standard wasn't it five Egyptians and one Irishman lol

Congratulation Egypt, England team is Egyptian origin players, but Egypt team still able to WIN

What is the difference between this channel and SquashTV?
This channel is for the events of WSF and squashtv for PSA events
Well done english guys, one more egyptian to go and you're all set to win
Egypt has been robbed from highly deserved Olympic medals in this legit sport for years... Only God knows how Squash is not an Olympic sport!!
Mo played great in the first couple games. It was great to see just pure quality beating Farag.
Unfortunately he tired out
farag had flu but insisted to play
Moo was fantastic
match was powerful ❤❤
Great match from Farag considering his illness and kudos to Asal’s maturing behavior. Such a shame seeing England in the finals but not with English players though. England is much better than this.
Which country will the Bagy bros represent in the olympics?
World championship❌
Egypt National championship✅
🇪🇬 vs 🇪🇬
