Stand up for ELIAS and keep up the applause! WHAT A GREAT PLAYER!!!! Saludos desde Argentina
this is absolutely outrageous quality!
They picked a good game to showcase! Wonderful to watch. The court was a bit hot, so with such good retrievers, the physicality involved must have been brutal, but both players made it look easy.
I haven't seen such fantastic quality before. That I remember.
Wow, what a great quality
It was 🍿 time….wonderful game….😊
These guys are absolute animals
happy birthday matt
Can only imagine this is in Egypt considering the crowds antics?
Womp womp
Seen a lot of squash but nothing of this quality. Johny William and he's damn 200% right
Great game. Too bad the Egyptians can’t figure out how to be considerate.
Elias should man up and say there was contact on Farag’s racket
Why was there no replay when the audience member called the ball OUT? It should have been replayed....Please commentators dont speak during the rallies...Leave the chat until after the rally has finished...its very distracting when you are trying to watch the squash and a running commentary is not necessary...soemtimes I need to turn the volume down...less is more sometimes!! I love the commentary cause it creates a bit of atmosphere but please talk less
7:12 was a bad call, explanation 7:26 "the ball was quite short" - no it wasn't?
It's played in Egypt, the referees are generally partisan and unfortunately not that good either, as we've seen over the years, a neutral ref from England or elsewhere is always a better option for these international clashes.
I noticed that too. The second bounce was at the short line, so not a good explanation.
@@ewallt You're never going to get that from an egyptian referee generally.
Year after year, the same bad, shake'y camera stand. Can You invest in some more stable solution or put in somewhere else?
never noticed this until you pointed it out😂
Whinge grizzle … if it’s on u tube and free put or shut up seriously
@@leightonkeutenius4455Nothing wrong with constructive criticism. The filming is by todays standards average at best early to late 2000s filming positions and takes were much more dynamic then this prosaic effort, which i'm not saying is bad nor unappreciated just it's lacking in optical engagement.

a simple 'stroke' given as a 'yes let' first ( 11:15 ) , followed soon after by a simple 'yes let' given as a 'no let' ( 13:00 )- both upon video review, that is the unfortunate state of Squash's official adjudication these days - making things ambiguous when they needn't be - there are several instances where one can argue that the decision could've flipped either way, but these two instances were not it 😕😕😕 when even the commentators (who are ex pros in most cases) don't have a clue as to which way the 'video referee' is going then it's safe to assume that conventional wisdom is not at play
it's a shame because players of such caliber are capable of pristine Squash, played with reverence - but this offsets the whole equation
11:15 was initially call as a 'yes let' and then confirmed by video ref as a 'yes let' and 13:00 was sent straight to video refer without the ref having made a call....... what are you talking about
that yes let isntead of a stroke was outrageous.
@@cookesam6 what I am talking about it is quite well illustrated in my comment above - you're well within your rights to disagree - I don't agree with either of those calls
@@pr0dest195 agreed, similarly the other call as well, I mean it's a 'safety let' even if you don't want to award strokes, but players do tend to stop when the swing's compromised - even if the referee didn't think so, it was not a position in the rally where Farag was 'left wanting', he stopped from a completely balanced and (arguably) dominant position in the rally, so a 'safety let' is a very reasonable decision, even if the case for 'stroke' via conventional wisdom (and ruling) is perhaps not warranted here
@@ZeeShaanJamal my bad I thought you were saying you were unhappy with the fact the video refs had overturned initial calls made by the referee. You're entitled to your opinion! I just thought you had facts incorrect
wow ...
