@@1man1guitarletsgo and jams in almost every town I go to.. I agree , I sit down twice a week ( 2 groups with only a few like me that hit both). with good folks play and sing and just chill…. Im 73 so my range is from 50s country to blue grass to hendrix to rock and especially blues.. I play everything from Bill haley to stuff off utube to Sonny Terry, Taj Mahal, Ry Cooder, Willie, Roy Orbison, Johnny cash and Merle travis, Doc Watson and the list goes on.. so yes.. people still play together..
Geez what a lineup. Gary Brooker…on piano. Must be nice for all of these headliners to be able to just play backup for a couple of tunes. Kudos to Bill for bringing them all together. What a versatile musician.
Brings back some happy memories of going to several gigs over a period of years, each one a fantastic show. All credit to Bill that he brought together such a bunch of brilliant players who clearly enjoyed playing as a proper band, so much more than a side project. They were also not afraid to include material which individually they might not have included, and made it work. Superb!
The Rhythm Kings could have been just another bluesy band, but by including Albert Lee, with his distinctive style and sound, Wyman elevated it to another level.
Saw this all-star-band perform in Nighttown Rotterdam back in this period. The venue was hardly half filled as the actual line-up was kept a surprise. A lot of people missed out on the possibility to see this group of top notch musicians play together on one stage... Tickets back then were fl 42,50: a little shy of 20 euros... a bargain steal.
He is better than these amateurs , now, how do they call themselves? - "The Stolen Rones".? WE all would LOVe to hear you here in Germany!! Come on, don't, regret - there are too many Clubs that would love to have you!!.
I don’t know why you’d add Peter Frampton when you’ve got Albert Lee! And I don’t know how Peter can be comfortable taking the solos when Albert’s there. Just shut up and defer to Albert, man - he ‘s 10 times the player

Nothing fancy just jammin and enjoying the atmosphere. No one showing off. All professionals.
What a nice breeze of fresh air to stumble upon this. So enjoyable. Thanks!
Yes. Stumbled is the word. What great music...
Back in the day when people played music together.
What do you mean? People still play music together. There are loads of bands rehearsing, gigging, and recording. Live music has never stopped.

I followed Georgie Fame since his residency at the Flaming Club - Wardour Street Soho.
In the 60's = He as got it all when it comes to live music.

Thank you Bill.. marvelous as always. The kings are an excellent music atmosphere
Frampton and Lee,can’t be bad👍🇬🇧👍
It's great that the played Melody off the Black and Blue album. Great song that the Stones never followed up on.
What a line up! Just solid professionals digging the grooves and bouncing off each other.
Saw them a few times. A group of top musicians all obviously enjoying themselves.

Ran into Bill at rock hall Cleveland gave him a cd of mine to chew upon..plus sadly Charlie died upon my birthday.
Never realized he was such a great musician🤟
Listen to his bass playing in the stones 1969 live version of Little Queenie, Bill Wyman Legend.

Great ! Now it's time to get back on the road, if only for the notable absentees, Luvd It 🕊🕊🌍🌍✊✊

Where’s Albert Lee?
@@michaellaverty1844 He was there all along, hiding in plain sight. Go to 17:09 to seeone of his trademark solos.
1 man I do not think that this is just another blues band
@@dhsumana407 Yes, that's because Wyman employed Albert Lee. As I wrote previously.

we have his recordings on our master server here in our studio. play it all the time. never got enough attention.
Nice to see graham broad
Always appreciate acoustic blues
Hmmmm, electric pianos, electric guitars, electric bass. I guess our definition of acoustic differs. Great video though
@@dougdavis8986 Acoustic drums and winds! And the vocals, of course.
Georgie Fame is someone that you need to see at least once, not only a great performer, he also has a great sense of humour !
Música maravilhosa o blues. Faz bem para a alma👏👏👏👏👏🇬🇧🇺🇸.
Y para terminar el show un tema del genio TOTAL JJ Cale. Músico de músicos, mayor influencia para todos ingleses.
What a lineup?, I wandered what happened to Georgie Fame, still kickin, Thank god.
He recently toured with the Manfreds.
Excelentes
Good to see georgie fame ,
Framton is amazing with the small fills.
Jesus Christ❤❤❤those girls singing😮😮😮😮
gotta love Bill, always did
Peter Framton ,such underrated guitar player.
...and what about Albert Lee?😊
19:29❣➖ONCE A ROLLING STONE 💋➖ALWAYS LIKE THIS❣THANKS ❣
Brilliant

❤️🔥
cool lineup; they sound great
Pay attention to mister garry brooker please
I’m guessing Georgie Fame is the keyboard player in the white jacket, so this is Gary Brooker on vocals for Melody?
Gary Brooker wears the white jacket and Georgie Fame is on vocals for Melody.
Wrong way round, Gary has a much more distinctive voice than Georgie fame,
YEP!
Georgie Fame lead singing?

Who's the blond female backup singer?
Yes,she also jumped in my eyes
i've got 6 of his albums......not a clunker in the bunch
Beverley Skeete
Think this band has enough talent to cover any potential flat spots?
This is what one might call a loaded deck.
How is it that Wyman never suffered any consequences from his cavorting with underage girls?
Matt Gaetz has the answer
@ I’m hoping the jury is still out on him. Fingers crossed.
He married her.
@ Just like Jane Austin.

@@AugustLeeFrisk..what you don't understand? Maybe Albert is a stranger for you?
Different style of player. Albert does one thing Peter does another. Got all bases covered.
Try not to sound like a biased fanboy….
Bill invited them. They obviously enjoy playing in the same band. How about just shut up and listen?
That's Hollywood Bowl shit!
