Amen to that. There were so many great songs during that era, you just couldn't put them all on. We were spoiled rotten with great music of all genres back then. It wasn't cookie cutter music mills like so many today.
this is my feel good song, it's so optimistic the start is awesome, the electric guitar riff followed by the organ kicks of the song so well, then jermaine comes in followed by a classic J5 sounding back up vocals from the brothers, love it! the picture is funny, even Jermaine is laughing at Tito
'farewell our summer love, farewell boy we wont forget you' 'we want you back' 'never can say goodbye' 'you are not alone' 'gone too soon' stiil cnt beliieve ur gone RIP 'THE' Kiing of Pop
I love this song. Should have been a hit single from the album. I can't stop wondering why Motown didn't keep the boys recording song from that year 72, instead of adding mostly late 71 - 72 songs on this album. I never understood that. When I first heard the songs I thought they were recorded during this time, which they were in a way but it's like 71 was ending and we'll have them sing the song again later for their next album. The Highlights of this are: "Don't Let Your Baby Catch You", "If I have To Move a Mountain", "Choice Is Yours To Pull" and "To Know" I kinda like "Lookin' Through The Windows" It's a ok song. I would have replaced: 1. "I Can Only Give You Love" - With "You Can't Hurry Love" 2. "Children Of The Light" - With "Coming Home" 3. "Little Bitty Pretty One" - With "Corner Of The Sky" 4. "Doctor My Eyes" - With "Going My Way" 5. "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing" - With "Makin' Life Easier For You" 6. "Don't Let Your Baby" - With "Up On The Roof" 7. "Don't Want To See Tomorrow" - With "With aChild's Heart" 8. "Keep Off The Grass" that is what the "Lookin' Through The Windows" should have been when it was released.
yes this song was on looking through the window album. I have all of their old albums on wax and cd they had a lot of songs off their albums that should had made radio play, they were album cuts. I still play all of their old albums to this day
The chorus sounds like "One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch girl. Oh, give it one more try before you give up on love..."The guy who wrote that must have written this too.
when the Jackson five sing,i'm there! No matter what the year is (1969 - 1975)then . . . The Jacksons! 😄👍💃
I was just born when this video was uploaded and I still love MJ

Great song!
I like this cut from the album "Looking through the windows",but my favorite off this album is "I can only give you love".
The chorus sounds like "One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch girl. Oh, give it one more try before you give up on love..."The guy who wrote that must have written this too.
@raportero Thanks for that bit of info. Tito's always had that certain look with his guitar...LOL! Love the afro's though.
