150,000 miles for a diesel truck is nothing. That is a 6.7 powerstroke, and should easily last you over 600,000 miles with no problem.

Hey man, Sorry that happened to you. Thats what I worry about,I’ve read that too. I Honestly don’t know what to do about that, maybe previous owners did that repair. Most reports of failure happened at lower mileage. @@PureDiesel915 Congratulations on your truck! My son and I would love to delete for sound alone. but carfax shows they replaced the egr cooler recently so I should be good for a while. And it’s crazy that if someone pulls you over and they want to give you a hard time they can give you a huge ticket. A mechanic in my area said they gave his buddy 3 years in jail for deleting a semi truck. I’m averaging 15mpg on stock emissions and haven’t even had to put def after 900 miles. Apparently 2011 use less def

377k on my 11. Only major issue right now is the transmission shifting hard as FUCK. on the even gears. 2,4,6. This truck hauls A skid loader amd Concrete wall forms. 12-16k and even more sometimes 🤫. It's had an extremely rough life being my bosses til he stopped driving it. Gone through 3 Rear Axels. And the front end needs work somewhat often. You can still run it without foxong shit most of the time. But that's obviously counterproductive. Just shows how mental tough these trucks can be.
