@@michaelcallison1157 I knew when we drafted him we had a steal. None of the qbs in that draft were better than Sam. I love the intangibles - the grit, poise, never rattled, toughness etc. He has a quiet fire to him too. He's showing everyone what he did for 4 years at UNC. People forget he started as a true freshman. Therefore he had way more reps than any of the qbs that were drafted before him. Sam's got all the tools to be great, he just have to continue improving in a few areas. But that will come with reps. Fans should be excited for our future with Sam!

Best game I ever attended! When B-Rob scored that 2nd TD, I said... "this our house!" And the energy in section 114 was very much like Philly. I felt it when Logan held that TD.. I knew we were going to steal it. I've felt it so many times in FedEx field with a 17-0 lead. And leaving with a 17-24 L. I almost felt bad for them. Nothing like a road W and we haven't got one in Denver since 01. DMV!!

One thing we see in both of these games that we haven't seen is our ability to make adjustments at halftime. Also, could it be possible that Ron really isn't as bad as the consensus is? I think the Snyder curse was the biggest issue, NO coach had success under him. Lets not forget in 2013 we had one of the greatest staffs ever assembled and the toxicity of the organization was still too strong.

Solid win, little concerned on how we finish games.
Great poise by Sam, good adjustment by Eric B in playcalling from half to half.
Using their DLline pass rush against them wit screens and running the ball, Yeah, it still works.
Still needs to know how to get rid of the ball quicker & learning the offense.
    That will come with time.
The Defense was shitty in the 20 minutes
Great for the next 35, then high on meth in the last 6. Almost causing most of us to have ❤️ attacks.
Team showed character coming back from 21-3, and get it to 21-14, after missing a FG earlier at the half.
Then making the right adjustments on both sides of the ball and change momentum taking the lead and winning the game.
Kudos to Denver, they balled out.
We better get our 2ndary right though, next up The Buffalo Stampede

I love that thought on momentum, Logan. What id say to the nerds is, "just because you don't know HOW to measure momentum, doesn't mean you can't. "
Psychologically, positive or negative outcomes lead to thought patterns that lead to actions that lead to more outcomes.
Momentum is the collective energy of all of the above.
So, what I think they may need to measure is mental mistakes after a "momentum swing."
If there is a correlated increase in both, you can now tie this nebulous concept to measurable things.
Sounds to me like the analysts just don't want to dig that deep.
When coaching, as I know you do, we see it happen on the sidelines IMMEDIATELY after we get scored on.
We work hard to keep the players minds focused on positively executing the next play.
If we fail and they focus on the past failure, we get more measurable failure.
Is this one of those situations where that "analysis" is maybe a bit too layered to be entertaining to listen to on shows?
Because id listen to you talk about analytics all day. 😂❤️‍🔥🤘🏽
    Great show guys!

Much better game than last week, to be expected. Agreed, a couple of nuts calls (the FG instead of Punt was just mind boggling). They're gonna need to teach SH to like..watch Brees film religiously so he finds those lanes to throw in. Way too many batted passes, or missed passes b/c he couldn't see over the defensive line. And he needs to get more passes to Scary Terry.
Nice job on the D to turn it around and grab a bunch of sacks. SH needs to learn not to hold the ball so long.
But this was a statement game. They beat a great coach and a great QB. Would not be surprised if Denver ends up with a winning record this year. SH is starting to show some flashes of brilliance and why he got drafted. And yes, that hit Jackson - I hope it costs him $100k. They should give the fine money to the people they hurt.

I gotta say. Del Rio got played in the 1st qtr. I get it. Denver’s coach is a wily son of gun . But it was kinda predictable. Denver used misdirection and ran Wilson on that 1st drive. Washington Dline was quiet and got fooled (they need more elite savyness) then on the 2nd possession Del Rio sends blitzes predictably. And after the temp check they came out in a run formation and play actioned the ball right over their heads. Even Archuleta called it before it happened. We know Payton is savy but damn del Rio.

Listen…..don’t get me wrong, I love EB aggressive play calling for the most part, but he has to understand this team is NOT Pat and the Chiefs. You can’t continue to dig yourself in a hole by passing 30-35 times with no run balance and expect a young QB like Sam to have to fight his way back into the game. If EB would have implemented a balanced run/pass attack in the first half, there’s no doubt in my mind that the team wouldn’t have fallen behind so fast in the first half.
