@OkamsRazer he won that one poker game and actually was smart enough to play his parents against each other. So I wouldn't say he was portrayed as an idiot from the very beginning
jake isn't stupid per se, just lazy and ignorant. he learns what applies to him, otherwise it isn't worth a thought. unfortunately the two combined means he doesn't try to learn much
Its moments like these that really makes me hate the whole "Pothead" version of Jake as a teen. Jake was slow yes, but clearly was never stupid. I can get behind the idea of him being a D and F student but the kid should have been a whole 'nother level of street smart, schooling his friends on practical subjects with a jaded, confident personality than anything else.
My nieces and nephews are lucky, I am that type of uncle. But with a bonus, I’m a twin and he’s that type of uncle also! Plus, we also live together like Charlie and Alan.
I did. But he drank himself to death. In the countryside in the small cottage where they grew up. His brother found him between bed and wall some days later. But I guess he had good thirty years fun, last five not so much.
One unforgivable thing about this show (besides kicking out Charlie for Ashton), is they turn Jake from a smartass cute and kind of pervert little boy into a brainless teen whose only funny characteristic is him being really stupid
@@Miblive Ashton did a horrible job. The show became very plasticky and the jokes were very pushed and completely not funny. Don't blame Kutcher, he had an impossible job to do.
