Fully agreed, it's definitely not going to be like that in the final version 😬 I'd imagine something a little closer to the chicane at the end of the long straight at Vegas would be more appropriate, which could actually turn it into a potentially decent overtaking opportunity too.
I wouldn't have thought of Suzuka until you mentioned it but I can definitely see it now with those alternating high speed sweepers in the middle sector! Good call mate 😎
Yeah, Nukedrop/Tyrone is a beast when it comes to track creation. It looks like T1, T7, T11, and T14 could be decent overtaking points. If they tightened T5/6, they'd need to really open up T7/8/9 in exchange. If they could open up T15/16 a bit, that would be good. I don't see why T17 needs to be quite so tight. The sequence between T11 and T17 kind of reminds me of part of the old Helsinki street circuit that FIA GT and DTM used back in the '90s.
I had the opportunity to work with Nukedrop closely last year when he brought my Thermalito project to life. Seeing him work first hand and the sheer pace at which he can knock out quality content was mind blowing 🤯
I think without the elevation changes it'd be a very different story, they definitely help give it some life, otherwise it'd be quite similar to Jeddah and Miami with the fast but flat sections. Just goes to show that it can look like one thing on paper but be something else entirely when it comes to life 😉
Ik I’m not the only one thinking it’ll be tough to overtake, tight sections with fast turns little room for error not to mention the load on the tires on the sweeping corners
Oh for sure, it'll be a bit of a tricky one for overtaking 😬 but in terms of a driver's circuit, it's not bad at all actually, definitely more interesting than your traditional street circuit filled with 90 degree corners.
Hey DDF! Audio Producer here, I would advise getting both a pop filter for the mic and maybe use a de-esser for your voice. Your plosives (t's, s's p's etc) are really piercing. Hope you don't take this the wrong way, just a friendly suggestion!
Definitely not taking it the wrong way at all, in fact that's some of the best feedback I've had for a while. I'm a qualified audio engineer myself so there really is no excuse 😅 although it's probably just my settings I've had for a while now and not really bothered tweaking too much. The mic is the Antlion ModMic which is really good quality, however seems to clip quite easily even with the input level turned down significantly. Being in Australia I need to run my A/C quite hard since it gets stinking hot here, so that creates a lot of background noise. I can't use omni mode or have the mic too far away otherwise it'd pick up too much background noise, although the noise cancellation can help with that it usually introduces some artefacts in the higher end if I run stronger settings so it's always a delicate balance. Not sure how I'd go about fitting a pop filter to the mic to be honest, I would have thought the foam would do a good job. It could be the positioning or it could be my compressor settings, will take a look at both 👍 will also go over my EQ settings as well. Thanks again for the feedback, it's genuinely appreciated mate 🧡
No doubt it will be sanitised a little by the time the proper circuit is constructed 😅 but there's definitely more potential for Madrid than I originally imagined.
Ha 🤣 I reserve the right to change my opinion at any moment, although from my initial laps it honestly was really nice to drive. Way better flow and speeds than I expected!
That left hander at about 0:50 is absurdly dangerous, surely there's no way the wall will be that close at such a high loaded corner at 160mph

It somehow looks like a hybrid of the Suzuka and Montreal circuits to me 👀😉😎

@@DDFRacer yes the middle sector is Made in Suzuka 😂

It looks great to drive but the overtaking opportunities hmmm 😂Anyways at least less 90 degree corners than in most street circuits I'd say

@@DDFRacer you re welcome 🙏🏻🙏🏻
This track looks terrible on the paper. But fun in AC. 😁
