Wow wow wow!!! This is so beautiful...wonderful job and explanation of how to do it. This is something I have never attempted, but now I want to try. Thank you. ❤❤❤
Very beautiful! I’ve loved watching your videos. I am so inspired to learn free motion quilting that I bought a new sewing machine yesterday! Thank you! Keep up the amazing work!!
So very beautiful. I appreciate how detailed you are showing us the different patterns. Breaking things down into units/numbers really makes this do-able. Thank you so very much
Love the tutorial. All of these new designs are gorgeous. Have finally just start the teal panel which I've only had about 6 years now. After watching both of your videos, I'm eager to get mine done. I will be for sure including each of these designs. Thank you for your beautiful work and inspiration!
Awe, Thanks so much. You'll do great. Just remember to do a practice piece each time you sit down at the machine. To make sure your machine is dialed in. Enjoy.
Very inspiring! I have a couple of these panels to do, but kinda intimidated! I really enjoyed seeing your furry "helper"! I have one of those, too. I am sure he will be right by me supervising as I sew my panels. It isn't complete without cat hair!
I thought you had pieced the petals when I first saw it. Watching g you helped me see it's easier than it looks bei g o e piece of fabric. Odd course I would have to practice several times before I could make one. Thank You
Beautiful work and I have to tell you I love that you are showing a man quilting in your videos! When I am teaching classes and sharing my love of free motion quilting, especially with youth, I am always glad to have a list of places I can send them to see what the men are doing and to encourage creative men to be open to the idea of quilting themselves! Great job :-)
Absolutely breathtaking! You make it look effortless. Thanks so much for sharing this technique. I will be checking out your site and waiting to see what other treasures you create🤗
This is gorgeous! Thank you for explaining your process. I am gathering my courage to try one of these. Your instructions are so clear, and just fascinating to watch.
I really like both of your Dream Big panels, you do an awesome job. Bought your kit with the patterns , I just need to find backing then I’ll be ready to go. Sew so exciting.
I have been trying to figure out where to start on "The Dress" this has made me more excited to get started. Very informative and I hope some day I can machine quilt even half as well
Thank you so much for providing instructions for making this quilt. I've had this two panels (opal and white) for a while and you have inspired me to believe I could actually quilt them. Do you have your designs available for purchase? They would be so helpful for the beginner quilter. Thanks again for sharing.
This panel is on my to do list, but unfortunately I was unable to fully understand you, I have a hearing problem and all I was hearing was the music in background. Please consider the hearing impaired when you make your next tutorial. You are really doing a wonderful job of showing us how to quilt this beautiful panel.
Please tell me, where did you find beautiful tweezers like that? Using exquisite accessories makes sewing and quilting way more fun. So does using vintage sewing machines make everything sewing and quilting more enjoyable. But please, let me know where you found those tweezers. I just love them. And I love your artwork, along with the mellow voice you use to teach. Thanks.
Well, Thank You so much. I actual sing too with this voice. The unique tweezers were from years back, in British Columbia, a needle art shop. I haven't seen them since. Yes, having a 10 year old machine is like being with old familiar friend.
Cottage Treasures Quilting, hello. So your wonderful voice does have a slight Canadian accent. That must be a part of what attracts me to your narration. I can now certainly imagine that you sing. Your voice has such a melodious quality to it, which is calm and soothing. I will look again for your shop. I must have typed something wrong. There were several similar store names. I’ll look up www.CottageTreasuresQuilting.com. Is that correct? Or is it www.CottageTreasuresQuiltingStore.com? Or, possibly .ca? Thanks for your kind reply.
Cottage Treasures Quilting, hi again. PS - Since I saw your tweezers, I’ve been looking for a pair as nice. I’ve had no luck anywhere. Now I’m obsessed with finding nice ones like yours. You picked out a great pair years ago.
Did you use 2 layers of batting? the designs have great dimension and shows quilting detail beautifully. Would love to know which brand of batting you use and if you use more than one, which one goes on the top and which one goes on the bottom?
This is beautiful. Have you thought about putting the pattern in a downloadable format as I already have the panel ? I live in the UK so shipping is horribly expensive.
You can also just send a pattern request for the patterns in this quilt the ivory or for the patterns in the Opal tutorial via email. And I'm happy to send them to you. Our email is: contact@cottagetreasures.store
Have you seen the pattern Nexus with the Dream big panels do you have any quilting suggestions for that one really like your Dream Big Ivory but the Nexus is a little different.
Yes, I don't have them on the computer just yet. When I do I will send all six to you. Can you send me a request via our email address, as a reminder. it's contact@cottagetreasures.store

We used a 50wt Ivory Thread called Glide. It took 10 Bobbins to complete

I use to carry them. I got them from Quilter's resource a few years back. I think their called Brewsters now?
What kind of batting did you use
Soft Bright Warm.
