  • Curve - Something Familiar
    A Distant stare
    I see myself there
    Deep in the black
    But can he see me
    Of this I'm not sure
    It's just a feeling
And you know how those things
Have got me in trouble before
I thought I saw something familiar
    I thought I saw something
    He walks my walk
    And speaks my language
    All at the same time
But he don't know the half of the hurt
    That he left behind
No he don't know the half of the hurt
    That he left behind
I bet you saw something familiar
I bet you saw something familiar
    I bet you saw something
    Should I say
Where have you been all my life
    Should I say
Where have you been all my life
    Should I say
Where have you been all my life

Love this track..by far my favorite song by Curve.. not sure why it wasn't a single, completely underrated unknown song of the 90s...

@Sapolsky have you tripped to the album "Becoming X" by Sneaker Pimps? There's hidden, dark magic to be found in it

LOL Curve started like 3 years before Garbage... Garbage's Butch Vig said the biggest influence of their sound was CUrve

Me too! I'm convinced this is quite possibly the prettiest 'noise' ever constructed. :)

@SnellSchnell herrr... they are MUCH older then Garbage... when Garbage appeared they quoted Curve as they big sound influence ... so Curve and Tony came out of retirement and did this record...

I love both bands dearly however I remember cranking up my Curve cassette, that's right lol, back in 1991. Then a few years later in 1995 playing Garbage during my college radio show. Now and then I would play a game of is it Garbage or Curve? Have people call in with guesses and give away prizes. My God I miss college radio days lol

Dean reused the vocals from this in SPC ECO's "Lef it out" from their album You Tell Me.
