He's such a class act...I love watching him being interviewed.
This guy is so good for the Boomers.
You look at Ben Simmons, who has basically turned his back on Australian basketball to prioritize his career in the NBA - which, ok, fair enough.
Then you look at Matisse, who has opted in and embraced the experience of playing with the Australian national team.
He is a huge talent, freakish defender but he gets to express himself a little more offensively in the Boomers line up, too.
I'm a massive fan of his, loved his contribution to Australian basketball so far.

Not that he’d play PG full time but, I think he has yet to be fully unlocked on offense. He plays ball like a game chess and can see like 3 moves ahead. Hope he gets more of an offensive role next szn.

Why Melbourne again? Freezing grimmy cold and in the dead of winter, the guys distracted by Melbourne promoting itself (sick of it) and the AFL aligning itself etc when they could be in warmer and calmer parts of Australia.
