- Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston talk with media after their second win in two weeks over the Chicago Sky, 91-83 in Indy on Sunday.
It was a balanced attack by the Fever with 50 of their 91 points scored in the paint. Clark had 23-8-9, along with two blocks, Boston had 19 points and 14 rebounds and Mitchell added 17 points. Marina Mabrey led the Sky with 22 points.
The Fever led by four at half and proudly kept the Sky to just one offensive rebound in the second half. The ball was moving and the team was as juiced as we've seen them all season.

Easily their best game overall of the year. Clark was the most efficient I have seen her, Boston has looked like last years rookie of the year the last couple games and has been playing MUCH better. The team chemistry looks like it is improving tremendously, Clark 23 with 9 assists, Boston 19 with 14 rebounds, Mitchell 17, Smith 15. Lexie Hull should start over Wallace, she is a better overall player, especially on the defensive side.
They will be even better when Temi is back

I was able to find a sports bar that was open early here in Arizona and I was impressed with the teamwork and how smooth the passing was. There were several plays where credit should to to all 5 on the court because the ball went from 1 to 2 to 3 people before it got to Boston under the rim. Great teamwork. Great Game. I will be going to see the Fever in Phoenix on the 30th. My first time every going to a WNBA game.

I have never watched women's basketball before until Caitlin Clark. These young players have a great future ahead of them now that many are watching women's basketball and should continue to grow. Now that Indiana Fever players are starting to jell as a team, more wins to come.

If these 3 ladies continue playing as a family and the coach uses the reserves they will have good games. First, the regular 5 players can rest. Second, the reserves double the rebounds that Indiana has. Third, they reserve make points. Fourth the reserves make a better defense. is a Win-Win way of playing smart basketball.
I still like to see Celeste have meaningful playing time and start blending with the team
This was a really good example of a young team grinding it out and playing good basketball against another fairly young team. The fever will get there, it may take a few seasons before they are contenders for deep playoff runs but comparing them to some younger teams out there they do have a good shot to be better than those. Will they compete well today against the NY Liberty or the Vegas Aces? Nope, but eventually they will! They have a bright future. Mitchell is fast and can shoot and drive, Boston can score down low, CC with the deep threat, drive and assist abilities. Those 3 I would say are the fevers best players hands down. I think if they can get some better results from their roll players like a Lexie Hull they can move closer to being a potential contenders in a few years.

I watched a clip of Angel Reese's post-game presser before watching this one. Angel blamed the referees for her flagrant foul, calling it a 'basketball play'. Interesting, except Reese came nowhere near the basketball before nailing Clark in the head. I know losing is harder to take, but when it comes to post-game comments, Angel could take lessons from these three Indiana players in terms of making it less about herself and more about her team and the game itself. This was an exciting game. Glad I watched.

Since June 1, the Fever have gone 4-2 and they seem to be in a rhythm especially with games being a little spread out instead of these quick 48 hour turnarounds.

CC is a star her shine illuminates the paths of those around her. Proud of these ladies stay humble and professional a lot of young kids out there are looking up to you.
One of the biggest factors in any team sport is chemistry, and chemistry takes time to develop. Trust has to be gained through going through things with your comrades. 5 players on the court working as one well oiled machine. These ladies are the youngest team in the league with a lot of talent that has to adapt to each other and find out what they need to sacrifice in order for team success. Once they embrace the polarizing dynamic that comes with CC and use that to come together they will be good.
During the game even the bench was getting into the game. Maybe this is the beginning of the team coming together. Was exciting to see. Makes me want to see more.

I've never been interested in basketball, but I've come to the WNBA because of Caitlin, and I've also stayed with the Fever because of the team and it's potential. They are starting to get it together and they are playing strong until the very end. They were consistent in every quarter. I'm proud to be a Fever fan!
