Its really interesting how they are focussing so much on Zombies already. It gives me a lot of hope. Usually we get a Zombies reveal a month before the release lol. But now they are teasing Zombies more than MP and CP lol.
Im surprised people havent figured out to just not buy a new game so early in its lifecycle due to devs usually not releasing the game in a perfect state.
Alcatraz does exist though, despite all those characters not. So is Brutus going to be a new guardian of the underworld or dark aether? I think we are seeing that trope of “some things will always be the same, no matter what timeline we go to.” with Brutus and Cerberus. But, I won’t pretend to be as knowledgeable about anything after the events of BO4. I gave up halfway through that storyline. I went from obsessed to literally disgusted by anything zombies with how everything played out.
I desperately hope this game is good, Cold War was the last one I bought and even then I got that in 2023. I haven’t really cared for cod in years, maybe this will pull me back in

Hear me out: No strike team, crew of Weaver, Grey, Strauss and Carver Map 1- Cross between Zetsubo and Mob (thematically). A facility dedicated to people with sensitive knowledge of aetherium, torturing that information out of them in the prison area, and then testing based on that information in the facility area. Samantha has learned telepathy and is working with Grey and Peck to orchestrate a breakout. She tells Grey EXACTLY what to tell the interrogators, feeding them false information that will give Sam an oppurtunity to cause an undead outbreak. Sam also gave Peck the location he needed to bring the boat to in order to be their ride out. The cycle in MOTD represented the start of the wider cycle as a whole, that noone could escape alive. But, the cycle is broken, after all, so that changes now, and we see out first fully successful, no main crew death, prison escape. Map 2- Liberty Falls. You'd think escaping prison must feel pretty, yknow, liberating, but when you're fugitives still fighting Zombies just in another location, hardly feels like liberty. Not sure how they get there, either they go there specifically for an objective or get teleported through some classic zombies bullshit, but its tranzit, basically.
I think the 3 representations of Woods is just the BO6 modes, being: Campaign (The nornal model) Multiplayer (The numbers one) Zombies (The zombie one)
Zombie Ghost was also the preorder bonus for MWIII and he didn’t have glowing eyes, despite the fact that the zombies in game did, so I don’t think there’s much to read into there.
This has been my thinking lately. BO2 remaster likely doesn’t exist. The leaks suggesting otherwise are likely sourcing files being used for Chronicles 2 and the typical MP remasters.

I think people forget but at the end of bo4 all of the different universes were simply moved to the dark aether. So allegedly this could still be just Brutus from mob or blood and the chaos crew could’ve come back from ancient evil or a post ancient evil storyline since dark aether time dilation could’ve had them come out at a different time period. It’s really cool how it’s been setup for treyarch to bring back some of these stories because of how they crafted tag der toten.
brutus looks so different too. the fidelity of brutus' bo4 design is certainly high enough to just port it and bundle it with the game but they went out of their way to redesign it from the ground up. very wishful thinking on my part but i would love to see him return in the story to make it more exciting. he was by far the coolest character/ antagonist cod zombies introduced imo. also his new design looks more like police riot gear than his old design did. especially the helmet wich looked very goofy in bo2 and bo4 now looks really cool.
MILO, I don't why but I can't stop thinking these days about that wonderful intro song when u started the Gorod Krovi zombies map. That's the best example of what I expect, the details are EVERYTHING.
My guess about Brutus coming back IF the skin is meant to be taken seriously is that Terminus Island will essentially be similar to Alcatraz but way bigger with some differences, plus back in Forsaken we saw the text "No one gets out alive" when Zykov/The Forsaken showed the Reqium Operators the fate of Carver, Grey, Strauss and Weaver. Maybe there's a deeper connection between Terminus Island and Alcatraz. For Klaus returning, it could be a plot point where some entity posesses him to travel into our reality and warn us of some unknown enemy.
I'm curious as to what the next "Damned" theme will be for the menu. Cold War's "Echos of the Damned" is my current favorite due to its mysterious vibe it gives off. But I'm definitely eager to hear the new Damned.
echoes of the damned is such a well written piece really, kevin went all in on it. It's starts low, slowly going up as like the new universe is being born, but when it reaches the peak it plays damned, to represent that "the echoes of the damned" are still present. Both vanguard and mwz didn't catch any of that effect, of something more. I hope bo6's does

6:40 all I'm saying is Janus was the god of doors, gates, etc. representing the middle ground between dualities like life/death etc. What I think "Project Janus" is, is the convergence between the current Dark Aether story and the Old Aether storyline. We don't know what happened to the Victis crew at the end of BO4 and they are likely still within the dark aether in some way, why do you think Samantha Maxis was able to get the old crew's armour, katana, etc. when she came back in Firebase Z? Everything from the old story line is somewhere within the dark aether. I think we will find out to what extent the director/eddie wants with the old within this game's storyline. Maybe answer how exactly the zombies are even back around the dark aether to begin with? Gobble Gums are back, so will Liquid Divinium be back and by extent Element 115?

Since day one he’s been one step ahead of everyone who counted him out and always found a way to stay in control of the narrative. I think the dark aether, and the aether storylines are one and the same and they said that to us because at the time we wouldn’t have understood how it all connected with all the game studios making their own additions to the narrative but now activision is allowing the studios to work w eachother on the aspects they are better at. Raven studios for campaign, sledgehammer for multiplayer, treyarch for zombies and it’s been more cohesive as a unit. I want you to build a narrative behind this theory and see if you can find it realistic milo

These are such dope skins im not gonna lie. I love that they made woods look more like his bo1 counter part rather than his vampiric pale cold war version. Its so odd seeing that old bo1 woods looking crisp and high res. But very nostalgic. Even though they are skins I think the amount of detail and care to have call backs is cool. Not quite nostalgia bait imo. Treyarch HAS to bring a banger this year.
Zombie woods eyes really remind me of the stylized eyes of zombie richtofen from the comics. His eyes weren’t “glowing” like traditional zombies, it’s a very similar eye style

The vibe I’ve gotten from bo6 zombies so far is that we are recruiting people from the dark ether or Samantha is. Cold way introduced us to the new combined universe and bo6 will encapsulate pieces of the entirety of zombies. Sort of like a revelations map, but as an entire game.
I think Brutus will be used on the new "Terminus Island" map. It has been leaked to have an underground prison, hence, it would make sense for this to be his comeback! (would then be easier to reuse his asset for ZC2)
I mean Brutus has always had a connection to the dark aether, he was manipulated by the shadow man and the apothicons who were trapped in the dark aether and his plan in blood of the dead was to open a rift into the dark aether to free the apothicons, plus in the tag der toten opening we see in Alcatraz that there are zombies and they have red eyes so brutus could've survived the ending of blood of the dead and was banished to the dark aether with everything else
Brutus isn't just a nostalgic skin. They redesigned him intentionally, implying significance to the Dark Aether storyline. If Activision wanted to sell his skin as a BO2 throwback, wouldn't it make sense to go with his original appearance? Woods is in Bo1 form. Klaus is different. It probably survived the bomb and reconstructed itself (possibly dark aether mutation caused tissues to form on its robotic body. Just a theory)

It would be interesting to see if they are trying to do some kind of zombies multiverse mashup in this game. Taking the mechanics, characters, and more that worked best from the previous games and combining them into one. Maybe we'll see some familiar faces return to guide us through the easter eggs in these new maps? If they pull this off this could be one of the best zombies experiences ever. Would love to see the return of a zombies collectors edition bundle as well.
Theory:Since Sam and Eddy are from the old universe, things are starting to bleed through, like how Sam got ahold of old items from past zombie maps when we first run into her in Cold War?
I am definitely excited for this game to see what they bring to the table. But I think if they are to bring back these old maps like motd they should only be 1 of 1 copies. Like of course we got botd and that had its genuine changes but milo is correct to say that these stories have already been played. The Easter eggs are the ending of that specific story. I think we could all benefit from 1 of 1 remasters of the older maps from bo2 similar to what they did with bo3 but overall what I’m saying is that if there is SOMETHING at all to do with these old story lines that have already been solved it will always be with new changes and characters. Treyarch has had a lot of time to cook and a lot of time to see how the community has responded to the current call of duty situation. I think we’re in for something special with this one.
Remember, everything was banished to the Dark Æther at the end of BO4. Since we have already seen things from the past bleed through in some form or another, it is not entirely out of question that Brutus or at least an altered version of him could exist.
Honestly, I don’t think it’s the actual “Brutus” from mob of the dead. It’s more likely that it’s just a regular prison guard/warden that just happens to look like the OG. Kinda like the dark aether manglers, Krasny soldats, the abomination to a degree etc
I've been playing cold war zombies for the last few years been playing sense 2009 I'm a huge zombies fan used to hold land parties with the boys such good memories there's no words for how happy and pumped I am for REAL COD ZOMBIES nor no nock off like the others try to copy let's get back to the real zombies

4 days into watching different zombie videos & something is scratching my mind. What if there were reincarnations of past characters through their “destiny” in the timeline & somehow richtofen triggers certain characters tied in the story to basically get in touch with bits & pieces of guides from the aether characters. But its all through the “numbers” system.

These are such dope skins im not gonna lie. I love that they made woods look more like his bo1 counter part rather than his vampiric pale cold war version. Its so odd seeing that old bo1 woods looking crisp and high res. But very nostalgic. Even though they are skins I think the amount of detail and care to have call backs is cool. Not quite nostalgia bait imo. Treyarch HAS to bring a banger this year.
Zombie woods eyes really remind me of the stylized eyes of zombie richtofen from the comics. His eyes weren’t “glowing” like traditional zombies, it’s a very similar eye style
Zombies is sooooo back - going to be an exciting year discovering all the little things to learn about this game. Hoping for an incredible 2025 playing it as well.
The vibe I’ve gotten from bo6 zombies so far is that we are recruiting people from the dark ether or Samantha is. Cold way introduced us to the new combined universe and bo6 will encapsulate pieces of the entirety of zombies. Sort of like a revelations map, but as an entire game.
Don’t forget the name of the wonder weapon on mauer, the one klaus helps you get.

I think Brutus will be used on the new "Terminus Island" map. It has been leaked to have an underground prison, hence, it would make sense for this to be his comeback! (would then be easier to reuse his asset for ZC2)

This is 100% going to be a mix of all of the cod zombie experiences from the black ops series with scarlett possibly being a character you play as.
I mean Brutus has always had a connection to the dark aether, he was manipulated by the shadow man and the apothicons who were trapped in the dark aether and his plan in blood of the dead was to open a rift into the dark aether to free the apothicons, plus in the tag der toten opening we see in Alcatraz that there are zombies and they have red eyes so brutus could've survived the ending of blood of the dead and was banished to the dark aether with everything else

Brutus isn't just a nostalgic skin. They redesigned him intentionally, implying significance to the Dark Aether storyline. If Activision wanted to sell his skin as a BO2 throwback, wouldn't it make sense to go with his original appearance? Woods is in Bo1 form. Klaus is different. It probably survived the bomb and reconstructed itself (possibly dark aether mutation caused tissues to form on its robotic body. Just a theory)

There was a skin for MWZ of the character "ghost" as a zombie that also didnt have glowing eyes, so it's probably the same case here.
It would be interesting to see if they are trying to do some kind of zombies multiverse mashup in this game. Taking the mechanics, characters, and more that worked best from the previous games and combining them into one. Maybe we'll see some familiar faces return to guide us through the easter eggs in these new maps? If they pull this off this could be one of the best zombies experiences ever. Would love to see the return of a zombies collectors edition bundle as well.

I am definitely excited for this game to see what they bring to the table. But I think if they are to bring back these old maps like motd they should only be 1 of 1 copies. Like of course we got botd and that had its genuine changes but milo is correct to say that these stories have already been played. The Easter eggs are the ending of that specific story. I think we could all benefit from 1 of 1 remasters of the older maps from bo2 similar to what they did with bo3 but overall what I’m saying is that if there is SOMETHING at all to do with these old story lines that have already been solved it will always be with new changes and characters. Treyarch has had a lot of time to cook and a lot of time to see how the community has responded to the current call of duty situation. I think we’re in for something special with this one.

Remember, everything was banished to the Dark Æther at the end of BO4. Since we have already seen things from the past bleed through in some form or another, it is not entirely out of question that Brutus or at least an altered version of him could exist.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s the actual “Brutus” from mob of the dead. It’s more likely that it’s just a regular prison guard/warden that just happens to look like the OG. Kinda like the dark aether manglers, Krasny soldats, the abomination to a degree etc

I've been playing cold war zombies for the last few years been playing sense 2009 I'm a huge zombies fan used to hold land parties with the boys such good memories there's no words for how happy and pumped I am for REAL COD ZOMBIES nor no nock off like the others try to copy let's get back to the real zombies

Don't forget this is a pre order skin which will most likely be used in zombies too. The odds of Brutus being in the game, while players can also play as him at the same time, are slim. But I'm hoping I'm wrong
4 days into watching different zombie videos & something is scratching my mind. What if there were reincarnations of past characters through their “destiny” in the timeline & somehow richtofen triggers certain characters tied in the story to basically get in touch with bits & pieces of guides from the aether characters. But its all through the “numbers” system.
