Just don't shoot your eye out with that thing, LoL. Good on Nigel. Knew it was a matter of time before you scarfed one up. Look forward to seeing you work on it. 👍☕🐢
Hi mate just a quick tip for your instrument film paint the back of it white and it will look great behind the instrument panel, all the best with the build, well done mate.
Bought yourbook from Amazon. Really good book was laughing out loud reading it..........................highly recommended. Good on Nigel sending you a Bearcat👍
After 11:00 - the choice appears to be between a B-Series and C-Series Pratt and Whitney R-2800 engine. I’m pretty sure that they never built any F8F with the earlier B-Series engine. B uses the small teardrop shaped rocker box covers and a one -piece propeller reduction gear bowl. I just picked one of these kits up and was puzzled by the choice.
@@MOS6510ModelsAnd i have! It has arrived and will join the Trumpeter 1/32 Wildcat in the stash for future projects. Good unboxings/reviews can sell kits. I hope Trumpeter puts you on their good boy xmas list!
I'm currently building the 1/32 Hobby Boss Spitfire, I definitely got bit by the large scale bug lol. Corsair is next on my wishlist but I wouldn't turn down the Bearcat hint hint lol.
Bought your book on Saturday morning (Nigel's recommendation), read it in two hits and finished it this morning. Excellent read, very relatable and I would recommend it.
Definitely not a starter kit. The detail on that engine will look lovely if on display. Look forward to seeing this built. Thank you for a great unboxing
Very good kit Mos, looks awsome, i love that Navy Us Plane it was a beast of power in that time . Waiting for the building carry on. Greetings from Portugal 😉🤙
David Doyle book on the F8F was looking around for the reference book (had the hellcat one, Bearcat book is on my Amazon wishlist lol) ISBN 978-0764367014 F8F Bearcat: Grumman's Late-War Dogfighter (Legends of Warfare: Aviation) is under a $20 here for a great reference book by the legend David Doyle
