Yet another Jamie Fraser edit! I made this today, inspired by all the voiceover quotes! The edit is fast-paced to match the music so it'll take a rewatch maybe. But I bet ya dinna mind 😉 I should've made this video straight after season 5 episode 9, but the idea only just came today after seeing the parallels between season 1 and 5 in Jamie's voiceover scenes. Diana Gabaldon has an exceptional way of words in her writing, that's for sure! As always enjoy!
Good luck to Sam Heughan in the Emmys! He's long overdue for a major award now (I mean come on... he's given life to this character over and over again).

Happy Father's Day yesterday! Just like Young Ian who has Jamie's honour, Fergus has his loyalty. This is a short video, but like Young Ian's character, their character arc is not quite round yet. I like to give the minor character's some videos considering its mostly Jamie & Claire on RUclips haha. I hope César has more screentime in the future seasons so he can have his chance to shine as the Younger Fergus actor Roman did. Enjoy!

You’ve done it yet again. You’ve got an knact for this. Talent and a good eye and a good ear, man, wish I was as talented as you to put together such a masterpiece. Choices has been a reoccurring theme in Jamie’s life and you brought together most of the times where he’s had to make a major choice that moved the show along. Job well done indeed.

There has never been a Droughtlander like the one between Season 7A and Season 7B, all quite contrived by STARZ. But I am quite at their mercy, sad to say, too in love with the series to give up on it, especially knowing from reading the books that 7B will have so many impactful events crammed into it. Today I learned that the 8th and final season just wrapped shooting. I hope to holy hell that at 85 I live long enough to get to the end of the series, dang it.
PS: Your work is outstanding, the best of the best. And that is why I am still rewatching this on repeat four years after you first produced it. I am deeply grateful for your excellent work that bears up so well after all this time.

Great concept based on an idea of "a choice". Jamie is a man of many choices. Aren't we all 😉? I always wonder and admire how wise he is at such young age when we get to know him. He never seems to go wrong. I love his gut feeling. The narrative reveals Jamie's prudence and logic. I wish there was some more in the series💙.

In the books, Jamie’s choice to stay was about taking care of all of those under this protection with Claire being the number one reason. When Claire’s choice comes, it happens because she is dying and out of her body and sees another woman trying to comfort Jamie. 😂

In fairness Claire gives up her entire life including her only child for Jamie. He chooses death over her again and again. Claire always only chooses Jamie. Always.
