Actually Brian I think this video was a big success, maybe not in the way that you originally thought. But is is a success in showing us that this product does not really work and then showing us the reason why. So I salute you for always bring good and honest tips and product reviews! Oh man so funny. I'm standing in my shower looking down at this crap. Had it for 3 weeks thinking I must not be using it right. Glad I'm not crazy.

Does it make any difference which way the center part goes in? I have one of these Shrooms and it does not catch much hair. I have added a stainless steel catchall at the opening of the drain hole which helps a lot.
I just bought one tonight at Walmart. I hope I have good luck with it.

Have a tub shroom and would recommend it to anyone. That shower shroom design looks sketchy..... review, either way helps.
I agree i like the tubshroom as well. That is why I was surprised with the shower shroom ultra. I'm on the hunt for something for the shower drain.
i have tub shroom it works well it clogs pretty quickly i leave it halfway out so it doesn't clog as fast
We have a tub shroom as well and like it. It does work well. And ours clogs pretty fast as well. My wife loses more hair in one shower than I have on my head. 🤣 at least it seems that way!
@@ThatFixItGuy yeah if i push it all the way down everything is caught in just top holes it clogs in no time seems like it works better if it is tilted and half out so it can use whole cylinder area to catch hair they should make it differently so more filter area is open

Brian, like you, that hair in the drain can't be mine. If one can't grow much of it, we can't be blamed for it. The better half might be to blame.

I bought this today. I returned it 15 minutes later. It's garbage.
Yeah not the best product for a common shower drain.
