Gudrun was so lovely this episode. She seemed like she had a lot of fun watching two Americans stumble their way through Swedish culture and hearing her laughing at their antics was just really wholesome.
I really liked her actually!!! I didn’t think I would, but she was so kind and sweet.

And the version they played was a VERY simplified one. The real version has much bigger playing field and rules about the fallen Kubbs (you have to throw your fallen ones to the opponent's field etc.) and whatnot.

Midsummer greetings also from Finland, our culture is very similar to Sweden in case of these games and holidays.

I loved Gudrun and her laugh! The best part was her saying she was going to steal the game from France and have it at their own festivities. That seems like such a fun thing. All of this was fun. I think what they should have done was have a real version of the nastified food for the link to try after so he would now what it was supposed to taste like.

What a refreshing episode format! Gudrun had such a warm, lovely presence, like a sweet grandmother visiting her estranged grandsons and spending a really wonderful time with them. And Mikaela was a freaking joy as always, lol!!!

I had no idea Kubb was a Swedish game. Been playing it for years at friend's house and I thought he'd made it up as his are Star Wars themed lol.

This was so lovely, made me smile throughout the whole episode. I can’t imagine how this could be easily reproduced but I loved Gudrun and her gorgeous laughter.
