Love puppy love when they get all bouncy happy to see you. Zoomies at the park shows she’s very happy. I had a dog that was half Australian Shepard an half border Shepard. I swear I could think and that dog could read my mind and do exactly what I wanted. It’s a wonderful unique bound.

This has became a netflix drama for me!! I can't wait for the next episode
I legit don't think someone who has never rescued a mistreated animal, could understand the bond such an animal can build with their rescuer, and how scared they can get when left alone (especially in the first few months). I fully get how "leaving the dog alone for a few hours" might not sound like a big deal to people with happy pets that feel secure and loved, but for Patti... this ginger dude is her everything.
You melt my heart. I love that you did everything you could to make sure she was able to stay with you. Your the best dog daddy ever. Blessings from florida
Hi Ryan! I began watching you channel when you were in Ushuaia and now I’m trying to catch up with the whole trip from the beginning because it’s amazing and so inspiring. I love everything in your adventures and I give you a like to every video, but today’s video is so emotional to me. It’s that I grew up in Argentina with the stories of my grandfather that in 1924 has crossed from Mendoza to Santiago by car when there wasn’t a road. He had a Ford T. Three days going by the “Cristo Redentor “ del “Paso de Uspallata”. They had to use the rail trucks in some parts. It was a great adventure. I thing it was the third car to pass through to Chile (the first one was in 1923). I remember the photos in those mountains with the Ford T and they wearing googles and strange stuff… Your adventure in the tuc tuc recalled me those stories… what a legend!…
When going down a downhill in a high altitude area, I would recommend putting the tuk tuk in neutral and letting it coast as the downhill will help your inertiа. The engine is going to disconnect from the wheels and just idle while you are still going fast. What it will do is, it will cool down your engine as you’re not running in high revs and save you some fuel. Hope this helps and wishing you luck from Bulgaria 🇧🇬!
@@conchscooter not really familiar with the Andes but from what I’ve seen on the videos the decline isn’t that step and he won’t be going 100mph downhill really
I love Patti and yours journey, it seriously brings a tear to my eye all the enjoyment and love I see in your videos. I will be following you guys for the next coming years :) I wish you well, I’m glad it all worked out for you with the border
Not only are you pushing yourself with true adventure but you are dialling in your skills. Every video cut and edit continues to improve. Thanks for including us on your adventure! As a do or die dog owner, I appreciate your anxiety. Keep up the good work and the positive wave will continue to flow! Thanks man! keep a sending it eh!
Your stress in the first half of the video was stressing me out… 😅 we all in this with you! 🤣 Patti’s reaction to your return was priceless!! And, I said before. Turn that blue fuel tank 90 degrees before pouring and pour “sideways”, will stop the spill 😉
Cheers mate. I poured it thinking about your comment before. It’s like 25kg full and I have to keep leverage on the funnel in the right way to stop it from flipping and tipping fuel over the tuk tuk 😂🤦♂️ minimal spill is a win unfortunately
8:04 that skii centre is actually abandoned! I believe it closed down because the area stopped getting enough snow coverage. Today it serves as an early base for climbers
hahah there is absolutely no way they took the mint plant from you, after you were just so excited to have added it. That's wild man.. This adventure of yours is a constant up and down, never stopping!
Ryan, you have such an amazing, positive outlook and I'm loving watching your adventure and your journey with Patti. ❤❤❤ The time you had to spend apart and what you need to wait until Patti can cross into Chile might be a good opportunity. Patti can learn that with your approval some 'humans that aren't Ryan' can be trusted. Much love from your homeland 🇦🇺
She was waiting for you where you left her, that’s loyalty. Please keep in mind that every country has a different set of laws and expectations, non are related. Try to check ahead. Glad your two are together.
You are the type of person the wears your emotions on your sleeve. What a day for sure with highs and low. Just a suggestion. I would be real careful about "forging" documents. You can get yourself in a lot of trouble in a hurry. If you're going to (which I'd highly suggest not), I'd at least keep it to yourself! Don't want to see this journey end on an unnecessary mistake.
Check again all the vaccine dates because the dog international health certificate is only valid for 21 days, so you'll have to get the certificate each time you leave chile and re enter argentina, and also get her a passport. The vaccines are valid for a year but the antiparasitarios have to be given to her max 10 days before leaving the country, same for the health check by a vet.
As soon as I saw the mint plant (I've been travelling through the border from Argentina to Chile all my life) I said "well, that's not gonna last long" 😅 maybe you can have a new plant in each country you visit and give it to someone from that country before you leave. It would be a nice thing to do!
I'm so glad everything went good!!! If you need anything in Santiago de Chile just let me know and I will try to help you ☺️ Wish you the best of lucks for everything that comes!
¿Qué pasó Australia? Your presence is far more known to the locals than we, the viewers, realize, it seems. It seems like you're recognised everywhere now.
Learning new Spanish as we travel south is weird. “Vos” instead of “usted”. Looks like you’re stuck with Patti. On your way to Australia stay in Hawaii to avoid quarantine on your return home. Put that in the back of your mind as you learn to deal with bureaucracies like an adult and a dog owner. You will be so changed by this.
Patti’s reaction when you came back 🥺 Thank you for showing her real love
We’re a sweet team
i love you and your connection con your dog happy TRAVEL

Massive ,massive respect for doing what you need to ,to continue having Patti with you 🤯not many people would've done what you had! Mad respect mate!

Yeah. Who needs engine braking in the Andes.

I’m so happy for you and Pati . Can’t imagine leaving my dog behind and hoping things will be alright at the border crossing. Love your journey 🧡.

Epic backstory
All I can say is, this makes me happy smile all over! Onwards and upwards mate.

Awesome episode, loved it and very happy you got Patti back OK 👍 🎉
Legend
You always make it at the end of the day!
hahah there is absolutely no way they took the mint plant from you, after you were just so excited to have added it. That's wild man.. This adventure of yours is a constant up and down, never stopping!
Cutting the zip tie on the plant holder hurt my heart 😢😂
So happy everything worked out! You should check out some of the sights of the area while you are waiting. Cheers!
Ryan, you have such an amazing, positive outlook and I'm loving watching your adventure and your journey with Patti. ❤❤❤

Congrats on getting that figured out. Cant wait for the next video
More side quests upcoming while we wait for Patti’s wait period to be over

Absolutely agree
What a day, what a day..... delighted it all got sorted for you in the end 🎉

Nice show

They really helped

I think it would be much easier to have 2 fuel cans that are half the size. Easier to carry, easier to pour ⛽
I completely agree. Need to find another asap
Saw it on Patreon, here for the engagement 😎
The legend himself 🫡
🎉🎉You guys are truly life partners! 🎉🎉. 📢📢 What a day what a day!
We truly are!
And also for he others countries if all vet signatures are accepted, because Perú, for example, doesn't accept any vet, only certain ones.
Do you know the altitude at the border crossing? It’s just stunning up there.
As soon as I saw the mint plant (I've been travelling through the border from Argentina to Chile all my life) I said "well, that's not gonna last long" 😅 maybe you can have a new plant in each country you visit and give it to someone from that country before you leave. San Rafael/Malargüe while you're in Mendoza. You won't regret it at all. Buen Viaje
Happy Dance Patti
What a day what a day
everybody loves Tori

¿Qué pasó Australia?

Ahah it’s pretty wild. A lot of interactions aren’t recorded because they just come out of nowhere
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Chilean customs and immigration are notoriously strict.
❤
Just wondering what happens to Patti upon your return to Australia? Will you being her with you?
Wherever I go, she’s with me
I'm here because of patti . 😅
Let us know about the inn name and address!
Sent a reply on the other
I would like to help you get an adult sleeping bag.
🤣 this will most definitely go towards my adult sleeping bag 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Cheers mate. Yeah vos is ‘re Argentino’ re is another word for muy here. Vos is still informal and is replaced anytime ‘tu’ is used
