Just heard Robert singing several of Tony’s solos in the BBC2 programme just shown again to precede the new film Production of West Side Story programme - he should have been cast, Stephen, he is electric and looks younger than he is….. truly a fabulous voice and a man anybody would fall in love with at first sight!!
The most fantastic version of "Maria" that I have ever heard. Rob's voice tone is unequalled and is breath control unbelievable. What a delivery of this classic song. I would everyone who is a fan of "West side story" check out the BBCs "making of a classic".
Peter Brown I remember reading the music sheet and having the singer hit the high note in ma-riiiia. I remember hearing Larry Kert doing this way in the cast album. But Rob hits this high note beautifully 😀🌹
