The coming up short as a defensive mid tactic is actually used in the Lavolpian exit, it was a defensive resource created by Ricardo La Volpe during his time as the manager of the Mexican international football team and is said to have inspired some of Pep Guardiola's future tactics as he was in Mexico during that time. Essentially the defensive midfielder drops between the centre-backs in order to then create space behind the first pressing line, once the space is exploited it was usually followed by a quick, long ball to the wingers who either cut in or cross the ball. Here in Mexico the Lavolpian era is considered the golden age of our national football.
I Personally think KDB makes hard things that also look hard look amazing. Some of his passes he just pings them without even looking. He also has the most Possesion Losses in the whole PL. But when his balls land on the other players feet…. Wow just wow. Busquets makes hard things look easy in a an almost lazy but elegant way and Kroos makes the things look like his daily bread and butter. No effort at all but very hard to Pull off. Amazing players who master the topixs of the video
I thought I would learn a lot but some of them I already knew for example overload and isolation to create 1vs 1 on the wings, Indirect play or I like to call link up play. But what I learned when to come short and when to push forward as well as creating passing lane for ur teammates by dragging ur marker. Thank u man. U still didn't tell me how exactly u learned all these stuff cz watching games alone is not enough eyy???
3:50 Hey, this helped me improve my football manager tactics. 👍 Overloading one area of the pitch to create space for a specific player. I used to try and surround my ball carriers with teammates when it turned out they do better when everyone's moving away from them and the opposition is forced to either leave marked players open, or concede the ball carry inside their half. A good dribbler needs room more than close passing options. He can find the pass with his movement. Teammates just need to make sure not to get in his way and cover behind him.
Great video my friend. The way you explained indirect play/positional play is how I’ve played and seen football since really studying how Xavi Hernandez see the game and executes his Philosophy. I have shared this video to a lot of my friends and if they choose to watch it will learn a lot. Keep up the good work 👍🏾👏🏾💪🏾🙏🏾😇
Thanks man, really appreciate you sharing this content, it helps a lot and I'm glad you enjoyed it! And yeah, xavi is playing some exciting football this season
I love the way the breakdown is in Lehman terms But it’s still based on how much a team is in sync Also, if We’re defending, ask those questions, by pressing How knowledgeable the player or players are and how skilled they are within their system let’s me make the adjustments need to get my players into better positions and situations Pressing man or zone, or not to pressure at all I am content to let a team go sideline to sideline not moving forward, and getting them to settle with having to go backwards
Very nice explanation..i never understood the value of Cdm before this video. Casually watched them and thought its too simple. Now i know how much complicate this modern footall is.
I enjoyed watching it so I'm left winger so I want to improve my game to the next level whether create a chances, dangerous crossing, dribbling 1v1or passing please make a video for wingers I'm really appreciate that if happen 🙏
Same for me I always unup having to coach my own team stuff from these videos but we most of the time end up wining after afloat of what ya call teamwork
Great Job...Kudos to you on the Level of comprehensiveness....Would it be possible to showcase how Tiki Taka really works I mean we all know about the Triangles created for Passing options but how do we pass the Ball and move in which particular patterns in order to retain the ball and create new Passing options while moving the Opposition players out of position as well
Hi, thanks fot a great video. Really inspiring and easy to understand! There's one thing I'd like to ask you. Would it be okay for me to edit this video into a few clips and upload it on my team's channel? I run a team of my own and if you allow me to do this it would be great help for my teammates to better understand the tactic. And of course I will leave a link to your original video also.
he did a Back 3 one. That actually covers 3-4-3 and 3-5-2 3-4-2-1 is just basically another way of saying 3-4-3. Or you can say a certain version of it
I have been waiting for this High Sky Football Meta Video could you please have your say on the best formation for liverpool this season.Liverpool was a perfect example for their effective way of playing (GegenPressing) high pressing and fast movement on and off the ball they were able to exploit space on opponent territory by using fullbacks ,Trent and Robertson and Salah ,Mane wide, also being stable at the back with Van Dijk,Matip, Konate, and ALison Goalkeeper. With (GegenPressing) high pressing and fast movement ,Liverpool were crowned EPL and Champions League and other Titles. Now our Tactic changed our playing changed drastically we are not solid defensively and we are not good going forward so i think it is time to get rid of tired legs and replace them with Youngsters Of Liverpool's Academy Liverpool Academy one of the best and one of the most prolific football academies both in England and in the World .Here are best Academy graduates of all time and now Klopp reluctant even to play new graduates players in his first team. Here i will mention a few of them for example .Steven Gerrard,Phil Thompson,Ronnie Moran,Steve Mcmanaman,Tommy Smith,Jamie Carragher,Ian Callaghan, Robbie Fowler,Billy Liddell,Michael Owen, and Trent ALEXander Arnold. Now we have Stefan Bajactic,Isaak Mabaya,Malkumu,Max Woltman,Bobby Clark,Layton Stewart,James Balagizi,Mateusz Musialowski,Players that Liverpool fans anticipate will make their breakthrough sooner rather than later..
You should do a video on how to be an influencial player at youth level. Teaching people the easiest ways to get scouted the other information out there is really bad
explanation is good,.but if you can provide some video example of what you explain by doing do's and dont is better, im playing amateur football team, and looking tips from this channels 😂
This zone defensive schemes are terrible. You never let your man behind you. Pick up your man properly and the offense won't be able to make easy passes

A 343 was already uploaded a year ago. Also a brilliant video!
Always love your videos
great video thanks
good explanations. TY!
Bro awesome vid but can you also breakdown the left back position by using joao cancelo as an example?
Can you do 3-4-2-1
Yes please and 352 formation (3-1-4-2 to be precise)
he did a Back 3 one.

What is the best tactics used at lower leagues and youth teams when you don't have the talented players for 4 3 3 or the exotic formations?
Thank you!
3 4 2 1 in my opnion is the best to use most of space.. of course that depends the players
May God Increase you abundantly!
Love your content

is that 2 back i am seeing? isnt that a little thin defensively?
Does anyone knows the name of that tactical board and chips? I really want one
I love it

just one thing. Ronaldinho didn’t play under Pep. he left when Pep Joined and Messi take the number 10
Oops my bad haha 😂 thanks for letting me know
What's your fav formation?
Mine's 4-2-2-2
Atletico madrid does your analysis on Modric well enough esp when then they possess and progress the ball out wide.

pep barely managed ronaldinho, he came in and shipped ronaldinho out to AC Milan the same summer
3:43 ronaldinho?
Barela stat screen is obviously for a Serie A, not “all European football”. I hope you stopped manipulating like this
