I think that's the main problem. There are many players that have driven these courses literally hundreds of times and the know every turn and even more important every shortcut and how to take it, that you have in most cases no chance against them. The AFK are disturbing, but just once a round. The most disturbing thing are these trolls you find in every multiplayer.

@@moltengears7483 i dont really keep a single ear to racing games, let alone most main stream games so i know little to non. as most of my time is accaly spend in the indie market, a lot of good hidden gems. like valheim got its base from the indie community.

Hey scrap, those straightaway that u were boostless, u can feint drift and build boost faster, ie act like ur gonna drift for a turn, but straighten back up immediately, this tricked helps me out a lot during the time trials and some multiplayer
The first track felt straight out of Distance, with the constant boosting and rotating mid-air
The reason half the loby is afk is for gold farm. I honestly love the chaos of multyplayer. the player made maps are a crazy wild card were you could possibly go from last to first by falling off the course. so many of the maps are supper creative and really shows you what you can do with the creator. there is one track were you have to climb up a ramp and at the top turn around and boost going the "wrong direction on the track to make a jump onto the rest of the course. when I figured it out I was so stoked.
Hey that's Ne3zy one of the most consistent community's track builders! He's the one who showed you the shortcuts in normal races. Keep doing multiplayer I say, it's chaotic but also interesting. At some chance, you might even locate some very polished community's tracks in the lobby somehow.
Finally, what we wanted but not what we needed.
the first multiplayer track is what should've been on Campaign mode tracks except the boost amounts. with the jumps and turns and twists. That is how a track should be with multiple gravity turns left right up down and diagonally
that would deffintly be a more competative corse because that maybe hard for ai to get at so maybe a sprinter
I know in Mario Kart Wii online there is a "Thirty seconds have passed since the leader finished, so the race has ended" so first doesn't have to wait longer than 30 seconds for everyone else to finish, and whatever place you are in after 30 seconds is the place you get.
Pay attention to completion percentage when trying a shortcut. If you leap forward it’s a shortcut if you go backwards it’s not.
That first one is GRIP in a nutshell XD
On the first track the dragon is bad as its advantage is boost count even tho the whole track is boost pads
5:08 that Yellow/Red livery looks really nice
I loved this. The chaos was awesome. There's certainly things that the devs could do to improve the multiplayer but still enjoyed watching this.
I wish for a chaos course from scropmon, and moare maltplayer
Screpmen could have an entire channel dedicated to multiplayer and course creation for this game, I’d watch it a lot

As far as multiplayer goes theres like 3 top players in multiplayer that you will often see in the podium for Pc:

I feel like that last track is something GrayStillPlays would open with. You know, his typical, "Alright. We're checking out the only game that lets you race on a course more twisted and contorted than satan's colon . . . . It's Hot Wheels: Unleashed." I smell a potential collab?
Multiplayer is pretty chaotic, but it's pretty interesting seeing you adapt to the courses. It can be pretty hit or miss course wise, but as long as you have fun that's what matters

Multiplayer, Beautiful Chaos
When I do online races other players unanimously choose the longest more convoluted tracks to race on which I am fine with any track but when it is a track that it can not even do over and over again get very frustrating. Also at the same time, people purposely use collisions to knock others off the track or purposefully mess u up. They also need to make those spiders a tad less accurate I mean u literally have to boost and move to the side at the same time to avoid him and even then it is not garenteed

Some creative tracks are fun and inventive. But others just make you want to leave the lobby because you can’t even race on it.

The boost has forward force you can fly if you manage your angle, come cars have slight upward force
This is a crazy, chaotic, arcade racing game. Dont ask fo normal races, you aint getting them and you dont need them.
remember you can respawn if you are in in the wrong way even if you're still on track. The respawn button still function even if you're not off track. you don't have to waste your time reverse the car.

I myself, holding 3 world records in Hotwheels Unleashed knows that what happened at 8:29 was not normal in multiplayer and it has never happened to me in my 600 hours of playing

Multiplayer is fun and also pretty funny
BIG problem with online: MANY people simply AFK farm coins. It frustrates me to no end.

My favorite part of this game is the sad trash from GTA racing swiping left and right knocking everyone off at the start and themselves every race. I make sure if they ever mess me up they never finish the first lap.
Multiplayer be like:
You better scramble like an egg before you get folded like an omelette
The first on feels and looks like an F-Zero course
You can unlock season pass easier buy doing the quick race daily challenges they're relatively easy to do and you get 3500 hot wheels coins and 500 gears every 3 or 4 tirs. You don't even have to purchase the pass to receive the coins and gears they come free with you just ranking up threw the pass. This helps a lot with unlocking all the cars P.S. the pass is just for the cool supervillain cars but that's all opinion if you like them or not

My reaction to this was just raised eyebrows and "uhhhhhh?!!!" .
It was interesting to watch, just went from one extreme to the other dang!
I guess most maps are going to be the most played tracks.
Which means tracks that are really short and quick money, also hence the AFK people, because they apparently get around the same money based on place but without the effort. Or it's crazy technical tracks where people are trying things and they look interesting.
Which then leads me back to my other point that the pro players, especially on these technical maps are just going to be people that know how where to mix rocket league and trackmania skills together.
Which seems interesting but also ouff to the new people.

I don’t think he realized but the last race that he did didn’t have checkpoints and there was a lot of shortcut opportunities in that race
