I used to own a couple of gaming stores on Long Island back in the mid 90's-2000's. One of my favorite things was going through my backroom every 6 months or year. I used to find great stuff and really weid stuff and stuff i do not remember why i bought it. Glad this came across my feed.
There's just something really cool about watching the inner workings of running a video game store. I've been playing video games for over 4 decades now, so it's cool when I see some vintage stuff that I can actually recall when it was brand new. My first gaming systems was the Commodore 64 and Atari 2600...so it's a nostalgia trip when I see you going through alot of that older stuff.
The RUclips algorithm is really working for Radjunk. This channel was recommended to me yesterday and I’ve already watched a ton of the videos. Blast from the past!! I will definitely be stopping by if I ever pass through the panhandle again. Great stuff!
You all have started me down the rabbit hole and now ive done the dirty of searching "reality of owning a game store" etc. I feel like i could happily work/run/own one if i had the means and the location but i would certainly have to move...anyways send me some Rad beach balls! lol
Man, that Versus guide to the OG Final Fantasy VII is gold. That looks like it's in great condition, too. And oh hell yeah, that Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers toy display, that's great.
You have probably got used to it over the years but it must be so cool to work everyday surrounded by all this nerdy stuff. Chill vibes as always, keep it up guys. 🙌
I have no idea how this channel ended up on my feed. But my life feels a little more complete since it has. Found 'em 3 days ago. Watched like 12 videos. I used to manage a retro gaming store. Trust I know the feels with clutter. I legit took a process improvement class to be less overwhelmed with storage. Love the channel!
Two videos ago I was about to say "not even retro stores have 3DO stuff anymore", but one (a disc, but it's something) emerged from the chaos. Next lost kid casually lying in some backroom waiting to be found: Game&Watch.
RUclips said to me “hey you’re a Gen Xer who watches longplay videos of Paperboy, you’ve gotta check out this girl with the blue hair” - you’ve conquered the algorithm!
I laughed at those RCA movie discs. I still have one of those RCA CED Video Disc players on a shelf here somewhere. That was pretty cool tech back in the early 1980s. :)
"Hello do you happen to have a copy of Banjo-Kazooie Nuts 'n Bolts?" -Sure, sadly it is only a loose copy! -Are you sure you don't have a case for it IN THE SECOND SHITTER???
I stumbled onto your channel through FB so I subbed to your YT channel. I’m a huge retro game fanboy and if I didn’t live in the Tampa Bay area, I would be there all the time. Keep up the great work!!
@@RadJunk One day I’ll have to take a trip up there and visit the store and RadBar. If I lived up there, I would be asking to work there and help organize all that stuff, my OCD is going crazy lol
I love your style!💙 I've watched a few videos and you guys definitely have a ton of rad junk haha. I would love to check it out but i'm all the way up in PA. The store looks great!!🎮🤘

I choked on my mtn dew when Sam was going through all those boot-leg binders and found something called Furry tails her reaction made it 10x funnier !! omg! she's awesomeee
@@RadJunk Looks like $250-$350. Someone was trying to do another run very recently on Kickstarter and got shut down by Nintendo. Cool store, thanks for the videos!
You guys have a very cool store but would it be worth getting some temp workers to do a couple hours here and there who know their apples and seperate out all the apples easy to sell stuff? That back room(s) would drive me crazy all that dead money.
This channel is becoming my new favorite for just sitting down and vibin after work.
Heck yea!
not wrong lad im from australia living out the outback love these retro shops on the team l
Good point! It is so chill and fun. Like ice at a carnival.
Sam brightens my day. She’s awesome.

What do you do for a living?
Them: We drown in nostalgia and we love it.
I remember in my 20s getting hired at several game stores and such where my first task was just sorting rooms like this.

Have you considered combo packs or mystery boxes to sell overstock? Could help to keep up with influx of inventory.
Two videos ago I was about to say "not even retro stores have 3DO stuff anymore", but one (a disc, but it's something) emerged from the chaos. Next lost kid casually lying in some backroom waiting to be found: Game&Watch.
I love going through old stuff . good show.

When I owned a vintage music instrument store .i had guitars piled to the ceiling everywhere including both bathrooms😂
I laughed at those RCA movie discs. I still have one of those RCA CED Video Disc players on a shelf here somewhere. That was pretty cool tech back in the early 1980s. :)
You have a wonderful job. I really like old electronic things. Those things are not junks. It is history.
Your store is literally living up to the Radjunk name! 😂
Awesome video - love behind the scenes stuff 😊

I remember reading that FFIII strategy guide as a kid on the school bus
I discovered your channel today and I love it, greetings from Germany
Ahh I wish I had watched this one before I visited last weekend. I surely would have asked about what the fate of that Atari 400 computer was!
I live in Turkey too. I collect games. But of course, it can't be compared to yours. You've made a wonderful place, just like heaven ✌️
I'm new here and this is my fav video. I enjoyed looking at all the goodies hidden everywhere
I actually have an IBM computer that those Atari games would work on.

Loving these vlog style videos!
I think TheGebs24 would LOVE this shop.
I like that casual pass over of the Nintendo World Championships game. A repro, but still pretty pricey.
Are they? We’ve used them years at our convention.
@@RadJunk Looks like $250-$350. Someone was trying to do another run very recently on Kickstarter and got shut down by Nintendo. Cool store, thanks for the videos!
Wild! Thanks for watching!
Lots of rad junk you guys got!
She reminds me of a cartoon character but I can’t think who

You definitely need a bigger shop space. Before you know it your store will be filled with trade ins 😆
I'm going to keep watching your videos 💯 😌
Nice store!
super rare game worth a lot of money, just keep that buried in the bottom of a box sounds like perfect place for it
I was 28 when Labo Released, and! It is fun when you're a kid... Or a manchild...
I love your channel ❤
Organizing chaos is my secret ability. You can pay me in sushi and RE swag.
i want to help organize that sooo bad.
So Radjunk isn’t just a cool unique name for the store 😂. No bullshit tho y’all should do a what not sale to move some of that inventory.
some hidden gems
Absolute treasure trove. If only I had kept my old consoles right from the Sega Master System
As a guy with OCD this video gave me so much anxiety. I want you to hire me so I can fix and organize everything... including, possibly the toilet.
My eyes nearly popped out of my head when you opened the second bathroom. AHHHHHH
🫨
Someone please do a play through of the Rumble Roses game. I’ve never seen the original.
