I did like los chris, its always been a favourite of a certain demographic even though in a recent poll,the more affluent costa adjede has matched it.has saff & yourself been in nightstriders haunt the famous sweet shop in los chris. Though golden mile is a pleasurable walk @ sunset,the water features walk off areas to the beach ,not forgetting las Americas if your youth & ego allow..
It’s absolutely stunning know exactly we’re that is , hopefully it will be protected noticed quite a lot of graffiti in and around Los cris lately wich is such a shame
What amazes me is why are the Chinese taking over typical Canarian restaurants. In all my 35 years of travelling to Tenerife it’s being spoilt by the Chinese taking over restaurants which they know nothing about

My theory - although i might be wrong - is that the latest generation of local Spanish want more out of life than restaurants/tourism as a workplace or career than their parents did. Parents retire - restaurant goes up for sale as kids don’t wanna carry it on - only people on the island who are interested & have the money are the Chinese. I’m fairly certain this is true of at least 1 or 2 places there 👍
Hi Col , great vlog . Good to see Gary on form. My favourite bar in Los Christianos. Spent at least 5 afternoons there back in June . Hope Gary's wife is feeling better she was not well when we were over. Gary has a wealth of local knowledge has recommend a few excellent places to eat to us. Thanks for doing these vlogs Col.
Hi Col we stay in the Ore Negro because to be honest it's the best value for money in my opinion. Roughly £1400 for 11 nights half board . Can you recommend anywhere similar in Los Cristianos please. Keep putting these vlogs out we really enjoy them. The mural definitely has come on alot since June.
@@rorygordon8358 Hi Rory - thanks for watching - i’ve only stayed the once in LC & that was on this visit in a private holiday let, not a hotel. So in that, I can’t personally recommen a hotel in the town. That said, last year, a friend of mine got a good desl in Hotel Andreas which is right in the town centre. He described it more as a travelodge type setup as opposed to somewhere with a pool, bar, entertsinmrnt etc. Other than that, I’ve heard Paloma Beach in LC is good & reasonable & Checkin Apartments seems popular as well. 👍
