Now this is a DLC where you can tell Rockstar put in some actual effort. I thought for a second this was the ending of the entire online mode, and I wouldn’t be upset about it either. Starting and ending the Protagonist’s GTA V story with Lamar, having risen through the ranks from being a low level gun for hire to a crime boss who works with celebrities, all while driving down the same coast that the Protagonist first sees when they fly in to Los Santos, not to mention driving away from the airport as if to signify that they’re here to stay.
Say what you will about Rockstar, but when they actually try, they deliver. This is arguably their best DLC to date.
It's never Rockstar's Fault, it's Take Two. The publisher, a public company that has to show rising profits/growth to keep stakeholders happy.
Driving, blasting this music in a fast ass car, dodging cars left and right, having the song end perfectly as I got to the helicopter, this whole sequence was just incredible. Much like the entirety of this update.
I feel you on that one, I try and get the helicopter cutscene just as the last bit of the singing happens while he's flying away, makes a good end for the dlc
I timed it perfectly my first time through and it was so goddamn satisfying lol

@@whywhy8575 i hope they dont make more dlc, because you can see clearly there is a difference between this dlc and the others, and it is the investement they made, thats why it was so epic, music in cinematics, Dr Dre, AP, La Rosalía, etcétera, and if its the end of gta online then it would be a great end.

EASTER EGG: the final vocalizations of the song line up perfectly with the RP and GTA$ payout coming across the screen. Park when the song reaches the words "genuine article" and if you see dre sitting in the helicopter during the words "you a boss in this mf?" You'll see what I'm talking about. It lines up so perfectly I can only assume Dre himself decided to make it that way.

You can't imagine the smile I had on my face when I finally got done with the mission and thought it was over, that we'd just see a cutscene and then "mission passed" until 2:36 realizing you could just drive while vibing to that song. Turned the volume all the way up and had one of the best moments playing this game
Dr Dre makes you feel special when it says this is the World Premier lol. Then him nodding and flying away is so cool.
The ending of this mission feels like the modern version of riding your horse in RDR 1 and 2 in certain missions

To be honest, throughout the missions we get so realistic about Dr. Dre that we psychologically feel that we are driving Dr. Dre.

Say what you want about GTA Online, but it's these moments that make the game one of the all time greatest franchises
The fact they give control back to the player while the song plays instead of just a cutscene elevates this moment to “getting tingles” level…
This moment alone made me buy and replicate that exact car!

For the helicopter scene. It was at the end of the song and as soon Dre left in his helicopter and when it showed the money and rp. As soon as those came up along ‘ahhh!’ lyrics. It felt gud.
Honestly I think Dre really means what he says 01:50 here.

I really Loved this last part to drop Dr. Dre to his Pickup point with "World Premiere" playing on the tape, and the Final Nod Respect was amazing, Rockstar actually give us very good content. Its just that thought "I will never be able to play this for the first time agian"
The way that car peeled out as well, some throw backs to old rap cgi videos for sure.
This is the moment where it really became game over at 1:14 and where ya boy here had to say good-night

I played this mission 6 times and it's still amazing. Probably my favourite mission ending in whole GTA V and best in GTA V online

It's not even lazy it's the fact I can't solo grind anymore either. So I can't exactly sell my stuff anymore
You can do 2 runs at Cayo and have enough for the agency. Shouldn't take more than like 3 hours even if you're taking it slow.

Rockstar needs to fix the end of the mission the dr. Dre media stick didnt spawn for me and i NEED this song when driving around ls. Also didnt get any clothes rewards.
