That is a spectacular tree topper! I really like the way you used the Walmart star. Good thinking. My mom used to collect leaves from Magnolia trees in their golf community and spray painted them gold. She used them on her mantel and in her tree. Gorgeous.
Oh I love that! I am actually on the lookout for those leaves but don’t see anywhere….

Love the way you used the light from Walmart. I purchased 4 of them, but didn’t like how bright the light is on my tree, when the rest of the lights aren’t that bright. Good job! It looks very pretty! 🎄♥️
Oh yes, it’s bright! When you put it in a topper with picks you cannot tell that it’s any brighter than the rest though
Yes! I saw that on your video! Maybe I will place more picks on it to use it. It still on top of the tree, I just didn’t turn it on. I have an 8 1/2 tree and didn’t want to take the light down. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I enjoy them. 🎄♥️

Oh I'm sure your tree was gorgeous. Every year we try to do something a little different, but we don't want to spend so much money, so adding some free supplies from the outside works! I hope you try next year.

@@MYDIYKathy Yes, I heard about your mom when you told us about her in the video. I have been holding you all in my prayers. How is she doing now? Do you think it's possible she is experiencing some depression as a result of her health crisis? As a former (school) psychologist I can tell you that it's not uncommon for that to occur. I put only 2 in a topper and the rest split and added in the rest of the tree. I think I bought 10 because I decorate the fireplace too
