The traditional tree is not about nostalgia for me but it invites positive and intimate memories of Christmas past. I am saving for another tree to try out current trends. I have followed you so long. You are so talented. I’m 80 yrs young and have decorate 12 trees inside my home and live in a small neighborhood thst each home decorates outside each year. I’m doing green, red, and gold. Last year I invested in new pics and garlands to drape in my tree to make decorating easier on me since I am much older now and have bad knees. I still decorate my entire house.
Hi Ramon! I decorate my friend’s house every year for the holidays. This year my theme is “Dr. Zhivago, Russian winter night”. Using lots of deep navy and gold ribbons and balls, with touches of white used in huge furry snowballs and fur ribbon. Also finding very ornate Faberge looking eggs in my color scheme. I also am doing lights in all deep blue (with some gold orbs with twinkling white fairylights). I think it will be dramatic and spectacular. I couldn’t have done it without watching your amazing videos!

Since COVID I've found so much joy in simplicity and nature. I adore the Colonial theme because it's so easy to do - greens and fruit and candle light ❤️💚
My Christmas home theme is always very traditional and reflects the l...I have inherited all my grandparents and parents Christmas decor...going back to the early 1930's right up to the 2020's. We get a real tree every year. I am able to get up to a 12 foot tree, and my family room can accommodate a very large and full tree. The styles of the past 10 decades, and the memories it brings....just priceless! Reds, greens, blues, whites, and silver and gold. I still have some incandescent c7 light fixtures and strands of light, and I only use incandescent multi color lights. Not easy to find these days, but I think they are so much prettier than the harsh and weirdly glowing led lights.

I go traditional with candied fruits and berries, red velvet ribbons, woodland animals and small birds. I add one or two trendy items each year, then store for future holidays. I am planning to add more picks and more decorative ribbons.

Brings back such great memories. I worked for a company that was known for their professional Christmas decor. It is actually a pool/ spa retailer but many years ago, the family started the tradition of selling Christmas decor during the winter months to keep business flowing. They specialized in custom home decor and floral designs also. It use to be the only store that did professional decor. (Now there are so many other retailers that sell a wide array of products.) Unfortunately, after the pandemic, the owner decided that he was no longer going to carry Christmas merchandise.

I am doing something a little different this year from my typical rose gold in my formal living room. This year I am using emerald green and champagne. In my family room which is always traditional with a natural look, lots of berries and natural touch swags, and garland. I am adding large bells this year.
Every year I say in Autumn that I will have different tree decorations and not red/green but when it gets to December I just have to get all the old traditional ornaments out especially if my children/grandchildren made them!😂

For our historic home there is a tree in every room. The entryway is black and white, the guest room is sea-foam green, the grand parlor is where the 12’ tree is dressed in an ever expanding collection of silver and white crystal ornaments.

Love your video, thank you for sharing. My decorations for the Christmas tree will be royal blue, gold, and other metals. Is like a Middle East/Marrocan style. Is inspired in the Three Wise Men (Reyes Magos) and of course the most important, it will have Nativity ornaments to remember the birth of our King Jesus Christ. I got my inspiration from a Christmas tree I saw years ago at Macys and also from a Hotel in Disney called Coronado Springs where they decorate for christmas Marrocan style.
I did a white pollinators and birds tree last year that included owls - not as fancy as the one you showed, of course! LOVE the emerald tree the most of your trend trees - where you mixed that green with blue-green, so gorgeous. Traditional color trees bore me, so right after last season I scooped up all the sale pink ornaments I’ll need to do my pink & gold tree for 2024 Christmas!

Love your video, thank you for sharing. My decorations for the Christmas tree will be royal blue, gold, and other metals. Is like a Middle East/Marrocan style. Is inspired in the Three Wise Men (Reyes Magos) and of course the most important, it will have Nativity ornaments to remember the birth of our King Jesus Christ. I got my inspiration from a Christmas tree I saw years ago at Macys and also from a Hotel in Disney called Coronado Springs where they decorate for christmas Marrocan style.

I did a white pollinators and birds tree last year that included owls - not as fancy as the one you showed, of course! LOVE the emerald tree the most of your trend trees - where you mixed that green with blue-green, so gorgeous. Traditional color trees bore me, so right after last season I scooped up all the sale pink ornaments I’ll need to do my pink & gold tree for 2024 Christmas!

Last year I did our family tartan plaid. Was able to get the ribbon, wrapping paper and balls to natch. Loved it!
