🕯🕯🕯🕯Beautiful. I always love the way you encourage everyone to do it as they like. Some may not know much about advent. Here's what I know: The weeks each have a name: Faith, Hope, Joy and Love. And the pink candle is traditionally lit on the 3rd week. The 4th week goes back to purple. And on Christmas day, white. I put it in the center. Thank you , Kathy
That's right! Joy - pink is third and I love how our priest wears pink that day too. Thank you so much for sharing that information. I love that you put white in the center. I might just do that for Christmas.
my dear Kathy, how beautiful as usual it was so nice to see you do an advent wreath. I have not seen one in many many years when we lived in Michigan and we went to the Catholic church. We always did those traditions but since I moved out here to Scottsdale 30 years ago. I left the Catholic Church and became a born-again Christian and go to a nondenominational Christian church now and they don’t have those traditions like the Catholics and the Polish people do. It’s so nice that you brought it back I think I’ll make one this year. I love the tradition of it. I love the colors of it and you did a wonderful job. Nice seeing you and Tweety having so much fun together it fills my heart with joy!❤️❤️❤️

I have wanted to make one of these for the last few years. I remember my mom having one of these when I was a child. I was at hobby lobby yesterday and looked at the advent wreath form, but didn't buy it. Knew I should have, but thank you for the candle holder idea. You always makes everything look so beautiful. I bend the greenery and stuff as well when I make my wreaths. It makes them look fuller. I don’t like a flat wreath. Your wreath turned out beautifully! It looks so frosty and snowy. So pretty!🕯️🕯️🕯️

🕯🕯🕯🕯Love that you are showing how to make an Advent wreath on your channel! My candle holder never sits well inside my wreath ... I never considered wrapping "pine" stems around it to hold it more securely! Thanks for that idea and all your good ideas!
You see, we always learn something new from each other! I would put it on a plate charger and tie with those pine tips

What I have done in the past to help with candles is to put a very small piece of felt around the bottom of the candle to make it fit tighter. Very thin cardboard, sometimes paper around the base of the candle...

I never doubted that it wouldn't be beautiful. And you look so pretty in lavender. I've always put a few drops of wax in the bottom of the candle holder. Just be careful putting the candle in cause it will be lit.😉🕯️🕯️

Alice, I took out the candles and hung it on my wall, it looks so pretty as a regular wreath now, you can't even see the candle holder.

Looks beautiful! I use masking tape, twisted and put around the base. I also use a tacky putty for attaching paper to the wall. Thanks for sharing.🕯

BEAUTIFUL!!! I soften the wax on the bottom of the candle with a lighter & put the candle quickly into the holder. The candle will usually will stick to the holder that way!

Looks very pretty, you could try blue tac on the bottom of your candle, or glue dots, hope one of these help. 😊

*Hello, Sweet Bestie, Kathy❣️💜 Just a tip for you and other subscribers in our DIY family: To keep taper candles 🕯 secure in candle holders or candlesticks, (so they don't accidentally tumble out or tip over and start a fire!🔥) squeeze a little hot glue into the candlestick, insert candle🕯and hold the upright candle securely for 15 seconds until the hot glue dries...no more mishaps or CROOKED candles❣️😉🤣🤣🤣*

I like it, but worry that if you were to sell it, someone wouild light the candles? When I first started doing silk flower arrangements I worried about that, then I switched to battery candles and painted them. To keep candles straight, I do a few different things; double sided tape, a bit of floral foam, duct tape, lots of hot glue.🎍🎍🎍
Good tips, thanks hun! I did light these candles on Sundays, but I didn't leave them unattended. Now that wreath is hanging on my wall. It's so pretty, you can't tell the candleholders are in there...
