I completely agree. Honestly the biggest surprises are Nox and Wix: if your starting a new save picking up a Nox and 3+ Hoocrates the first night sets you up for success for a long time. alternatively if you make you way up to the small volcano you can be running a Wix and Roobies by level 10. Honestly either setup can take you to level 30 and Pyrin no problem. The only advantage between the two is easy access to Seed Mine and forced Super Effective damage. Chillet is a bit of a wash until endgame, but Univolt is a really solid option as well. Loading it up with water skills (aqua gun and hydro jet are really early) gets you to an endgame setup as soon as 14. Univolt has a pretty solid use case for going after Azurobe and Penking at that point, but until you can farm and catch Gobfins and swap it's skills it falls off a bit.
Really love your videos. It may sound dumb but I actually take notes, and It has HELPED SO MUCH. I realize that the game keeps evolving especially after updates and at some point, I am going to have to do a fresh restart. I have over 1000 in game days so far. At some point they may refer to this game point as vanilla. When and if you get time could you give a “lesson” in chain breeding and which 10 or X pals to go for to help git gud for newbies and restarts? I am referring to battling, but pals for farming on the side, for those that choose to have the whole experience might help as well. I know this is a big ask, as it means including an order of capture will surely change, but it would be a true GO TO without glitches and cheese. Long live the cheese. Thanx
Yeah, I'm building a team of applied damage guys, I think it's going to be Anubis, Ragnahawk, Wixen, Verdash... I've not decided who I'm rounding it out with. Or rather, it's going to be team "fight with me" and a ragnahawk. But for the record, in my heart of hearts, I'll be riding a ragnahawk, but I'll be wishing it was a Vanwyrm Cyrst. That's just the coolest looking flying mount.
Excellent work mate I've taken a break waiting for the DLC and getting my son a new Xbox is the Xbox One cannot handle it the size of my BASE and what's going on
Really there are a lot of viable builds, both in and out of the meta. Personally for fire I favor Wixen based on the aesthetics of her, and as a base pal shes decent enough for use as a cook, crafter, and transport fairly early on. She does end up being outshined in all of those roles eventually but, I still keep Guy Foxiri and Amelia Foxhart around my base cause I just like them.
I am using Verdash, but not sure if Robinquill could be better. Doesnt have "applied damage", but the weak spot bonus seems more useful than advantage to earth type only. Same for Anubis x Robinquill Terra

i love these videos. I have always rung 2 gofins n 2 gobfin ingnis, with a Firehawk and endgame a Frostnox.

Great breakdown of the fight together/applied damage pals! Can't wait to see what other videos you're going to do next.
I think this is a perfect summary.

for the RUclips algorithm

I love the "fighting together pal" concept. 🤝
Do you speak Spanish?
Nah not really.
I follow all your guides for pals. Keep it up brother!
Thank you
This was very good and informative, thank you!
