You are not lying! Selyn took me the longest of any PAL to get perfect stats and IV's. BUT. Was worth it. I have almost 25 perfect's. She was the first I grinded with the new update. She melts Bahamut Ryu. Because he is so big, her aoe's do massive damage.

I appreciate your sacrifice for breeding caprity. Turns out its worth it not for easy berries but is a good combat monster for easy and mid ground bosses east to capture so save a fortune on breeding too on hard mode especially now the blackmarketeer has been nerfed for gold farming :)
That 5% Male really is a Pain in the Ass. Still havent gotten a Selyne to breed with. And even when i get one, not sure if i want the Hassle, given how long it took me to get a 4 Trait Libero.... Looks like you are having more trouble than me. I finally got my perfect at 794, but like 600 of that was just trying to cross breed IVs. I had perfect passives on one, and near perfect IVs on another, and spent over a week to get them to combine. The severe lack of males from breeding made things much harder. Now I just need to get a paired Male and breed out about 20 more to try raid. One thing I do not like about her is you cannot use weapons while riding.

I was happy when I got the mutations needed on Frostalion(Legend, Musclehead, Ice Emperor, Serenity) even without Foxcicles for boosted ice damage, but having perfect IV's and 5 Star and all souled up no cheese burger, she has almost 10k HP, 2200 Attack and 1200 Defense. Can't wait to breed Selyne.
I wanna breed selyne for my dark pal only run but the issue I keep running into is for some reason every time the meteorite lands in salurajima it’s always in an area loaded with aggressive ass pals that aggro from a mile away so the other pals keep killing her before I can catch her lol
I had a life 2 pendent, in fact I've found several but I keep selling them because you only need one. But, I accidently sold it recently... Oh well, I'll find more eventually. And, I don't really need it. I run def, def 1, and def 2 anyway. I was using the life 2 when I can, and the multiclimate 1 when conditions called for it. Now I can run the attack 2 or just leave the multiclimate shirt on all the time.
And, I did eventually beat Saya. I didn't have to cheese her, but man. Like I've said every other boss I lost too once each other than Zoe. I probably had to fight Saya like 20ish times.
I did use impatient on her instead of burly body. it works great because the bosses didn't target her when i hopped of. i used her to beat lily and lileen on hard and only used her to beat ballanoir libero (no other base palls). but i guess it is up to preference.
ever since i made my base at sakujima as main base i caught a lot of selyne for now even without breed theyre osm base pal (i use her as transport). since every selyne tat is catch is lvl50 it also good for boss fight or raid boss fight, but surely ill breed her soon .. i just dont have much patience to breed 50 kinda pals to fight a fcking boss -.- i just have 1 main base with 4 floors , 2nd hybrid quartz base with 5 breedfarm with 3rd also being a hybrid base of more 5 breedfarm which also is a place were i fight raid boss (astral mountains tat round location with 4 chest spawns together).
I believe she has a dragon attack is because the tower boses have an attack to counter the tower boses weakness. Shes neutral wich is weak to dark thats weak to dragon
Holy Burst is hitting WAY harder than it should. the initial hit is like 200, the secondary is doing 3k across like 10 ticks it should really be swapped. I imagine that if you were to run a Grintale with Holy Burst it would cook. as far as worth it outside... breeding it is real rough. we went through the same process with bella but even getting started takes a ton of time. its 100% a pal your going to want to fix the IVs on with fruit as soon as you get a male with passives. I'll probably mess around with it eventually (assuming they don't patch Holy burst) but right now its not the top of the list.
I haven't watched your streams but I watch all the vids. One thing I haven't seen you mention. Katress fully condensed makes dog coin drop like a crazy 200% or something when farming for dog coin.

Reason your attacks weren't going through, at least the way I'm thinking, is cause the way you where positioned with your cross hairs your selyne was targetting the corner of the pillar. If you had aimed for the center of it more squarely it might have gone through.
I'm still not clear on the IV's. The preferred method seems to be breeding your desired passives first, then somehow adding the IV's. Are you guys just cheesing in boatloads of Dog Coins and buying power fruit? Or is there a way to breed in better IV's once you have your passives sorted?
The iV Fruits is a way to fast track the iVs to 100. Once you have a breeding par with perfect passives and ivs. It MUCH easier to mass perduse AND transfer both passives and iv to other pals in the breeding line. You can get 100 with out fruits but it just takes longer. I get the ivs up to 80+ before using fruits to max them out. Its a grind to get 100s.
Anyone can tell me about IV Fruit stats stuff? Where should I use them? The parents of the final pals? or the final pals but before level them up? or doesnt matter and the IV stat maxed anyway after I use them on lv55 final pal?
@@FanaticPopedoes being the strongest moves make up for the lack of damage by only doing neutral instead of super effective though? I get testing everything, there's nothing wrong with that. However, given the current state of endgame, wouldnt the question, "is X dark pal worth maxing" always be a "no. Its neutral damage, though high, cant compete with doing super effective in a raid"
@@Hoffman745 I mean i 4 Shot frosty with with a Grintale on only using holy burst... Theres not a fire pals out there, even with vine wrap " gives it 4X damage", That can 4 hit frosty. As far as ur raid question they can be good for the raid. Yes , they do enough damage to where you dont have to be involved with the damage. Seen 20 moon ladies bet bella ultra. Some move set are made stronger that way bc other wise they dont get used. Fire pals would be the ones to use.
@@Hoffman745 Yeah, I see Selyne using JUST Holy burst could do better. She had Higher attack power and her partner skill is a miss print, it not fire its Neutral damage increase. If we can get them on fruits then i think Paladius might be really good too.
This pal reminds me of Paladius. Just looking at the stats it is nothing special, but in practice it annihilates.

Cativas punch flurry is too good for what it is. I too would like to see if all the other pal specific attacks are as worth it.

You are right, all the Hard bosses do the same thing
She is neutral dark making her only weak to dragon. She is double resistant to neutral making her a neutral pal tank.

Holy burst is just too strong, i got spawn camp once when I had 3x spawn on, huge damage and chain stun lock before i could move.
i really like her ngl. i got mine similar to yours just as an alpha. took quite a while to get her but it was worth it.

Why would you bother maxing any dark pals outside of a challenge run? None of the late game fights are vs neutral.
Shadow Beak has the 2 hardest hitting moves. Plus i test everything
