Well, it took lots of attempts, so I had plenty experience at this point haha
Major congrats Roku! Finally managed to stop teo from cowardly limping away 😁👌 glad the nightmare has finally come to an end
Ah, yes. Long sword mains can learn a thing or two from this video. Like going for the tail. Good stuff, dude. Good stuff.
Funnily enough the LS run for this quest is about 30 seconds faster but yeah, I definitely get your point.

Incredible
Speed runners make it look so easy
I think the skills are crit draw, punish draw, focus and fast sheath, or is there's more?, oh there's too many skills😅
Congrats bro sorry for the late lol ^^/
Can someone please explain what the way to go for GS in MHGU?
Hit and run builds with crit draw etc?
Or full combo builds with exploiting weaknesses etc?
So utilising the full potential of GS through "full comboing" play style or "hit-and-run" play style?
Depending on the monster you're trying to hunt, one strat will be more effective than the other.
I don't know how experienced you're with the game, but figuring out which one is best requires not only a lot of testing on a specific monster but also good judgement and adeptness with both playstyles and as a result, it's quite time-consuming to do.
In the case of Teostra, he's better run with "unsheathed style" GS even though I'm running hit and run here (I have a faster run in my channel using the former if you wanna check it out)
In any case, if you wanna get an approximate idea of what might be better for a specific monster check the MHGU speedrun archive made by Jeck: www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunter/comments/c0dmrm/mhxxgu_speedrun_archive/
and take a look at what playstyle the runner is using.
@@rokumh7830 thank you very much for your detailed answer! Just watched your other testra run. really impressive!
this und your link to the speedrun archive is very helpful, thank you for that :)
i want that black set but i really really dont want to fight narkakos at all lol,
Awesome 👍
POGCHAMP ! Im justtus23 btw ☺
Just a tip, Challenge Sheath is usually enough to maintain max sharpness with a Greatsword. You don't really need Absolute readiness if you are carrying Challenge sheath, so could equip other arts like Absolute evasion or Lion's maw.
Impossible to maintain sharpness when he exits rage mode every time you stagger his head. In this run I just got very lucky with challenge sheath activation the moments he was enraged and only had to use readiness once.
perfect
Toast.
1:34 Why do those sound like gunshots?
Why do you over charge your gs when not in brave mode?
I don't.
Please share your build
It's in the description
