- In this video, I am testing the performance of the new Thermal Grizzly Mycro Direct-Die Pro Water Block in different Cinebench tests. Compared with my previous IceMan direct die water block, this one is better, in my case, I can see a difference of 7 degrees at full load by using the same water temperature.
The CPU has overclocked all the PCores at 6.2 GHz, and all the Ecores at 4.9 GHz. The cache ratio is set at 5.3.
The cooler used is a Hailea 300A water chiller, and the water temperature fluctuates between 12 to 15 degrees after some time.
Time Stamps:

I was wondering which block should I go with before delidding my cpu, now I know the answer. 👍🏻
What’s the water temp b4 the block? Idle core temps are 10 degrees. Are you in the Arctic?
Is delidding the cpu still beneficial if you are using a chiller?
Hello,
From experience, the water chiller is beneficial for the CPU, whether it is delided or not. To be honest, I haven't had the chance to use my chiller with a stock CPU so far, so I can't answer this question.
So what are your overall thoughts on the TG. Direct die? I have my 14700K paired with the supercool direct die and it stays pretty cool. Do you have a comparison between these two blocks? If not then let me know what you think!. Congrats to you🎉
@@doseofmusic1510 hey 👋
I have never used the supercool direct die water block , so I don’t have what to mention about this. My first direct die water block was from Ek and it has been the worst ever. Afterwards, i moved to the iceman and it was a big jump in temperature compared with the one from Ek. At this moment I have the one from TG and is better by at least 5 degrees compared with the iceman.
So far I am pretty happy with it and how it performs. My ddr5 8800 cl36 is stable as well, no issues. I will keep it until I will upgrade the cpu later on.
@@BMAR92 thats awesome man. Another question I have is about the mounting pressure. Do you just screw in the screws until they stop moving? I know that it replaces the stock mechanism, but coming from a supercool block, im not sure how to approach that. Especially because i want to keep my ram stable.
@@doseofmusic1510 I don’t have a proper key to measure the torque and yes indeed I have tightened the screws until the end. I have always done it in this way.
@@BMAR92 nice thank you for the information!!
@@doseofmusic1510 with welcome 👋
What is your SP score?
