I will be flying with Airlink next month from Cape Town to Windhoek Namibia on the ERJ-135. I'll be carrying my cameras and lenses inside a Shimoda Explore 35L backpack. Do you think this would fit in the overhead bin? (Dimension of the bag: 11.6W x 21.2H x 7.8D in. / 29.5W x 54H x 20D cm
I can't let this backpack fly in the hold baggage due to the fragile lens and camera setup. Btw, do Airlink check the weight of the cabin baggage?

Hi Can
The cabin bins on board the E135 are smaller than other planes. Should be ok but not sure. Have you tried to check with the airline ?
