I want to know too, Charles.
Serg Tech would you help me repair a iPhone X lcd light
Are you still selling the Tool kit that includes the Tri tip screwdriver? if so, how fast do you ship?

Great video. I paid $70 total for the screen and tool kit online and this took me about a half hour. Face ID still works. The only thing I lost was auto-brightness, and honestly who cares right?
Keegan Good where online did you buy the screen
Everything worked good again?
hey thank you for your video. I was hoping if you could link where I could buy a screen that isn't fake or drain my battery quickly during use. It would be really helpful
Hey, do you have a video on how to do the adhesive? Heard that if you don’t do it, you’ll lose the water resistance
WARNING!
As of replacing iPhone X OLED Screen, we have encountered 5 different issues!
1. A gentle touch on the sensor(FACE ID) Will DAMAGE THE SENSOR AND WILL NOT FUNCTION AGAIN, ALSO A FINGERPRINT WILL RUIN THE PROCESS!
2. The Flex cables are more sensitive than the other iPhone models, DO NOT TOUCH IT WITH METAL OR ALUMINUM SCREWDRIVERS!
3. TOUCH THE SENSORS( BRIGHTNESS OR THE EAR SENSOR WILL DAMAGE THEM AND WILL NOT WORK)!
4. TOO MUCH HEAT will RUIN your face and camera!
5. On the ear speaker there is a small metal piece, forget to put that piece into the right place again will result in the earpiece not working still with the brightness sensor!
Thank you for the what-not-to-do tips!
Don't you have to also program the screen with the serial from the previous? Also no water resistant adhesive?
No you have never had to program the screens but yes water adhesive is missing so no waterproof
@@itrurelig1on759 you have to program the screen man or else you won't get the true tone
Thank you! Very helpful! Also really appreciate there's no music in the video :)
I heated it up and its not separating no matter i have used two suction cups I removed the screws and the sim tray any advice
Can u please post the list of things we need for phone repairs and about screw driver kit please
So I’m a little confused. I’ve seen repair shops program the new screens is this not required anymore?
hello, please I have an issue with my iPhone X screen bulging out due to heat. I’ve had to put a rubber glue multiple time but it keeps doing the same thing. My question is are there special adhesives for iPhones in particular that might just hold the screen down once and for all. The screen works perfectly ok unless it needs to be glued again
thank you for this clear tutorial, next is the true tone procedure...
Just finished replacing this iphone x screen. Thanks for the video worked out great!
Mine won’t turn on do you think it’s the battery?
@@slap_media5296 make sure the battery and screen flex cables are connected properly to the phone. I used the plastic black stick to push them down in place.
Warrith Shabazz yeah everything is connected but I’m just going to take it to Best Buy
Good for you.
He is fully aware its a oled display, but when you are working on phones all day you just say lcd or digi depending on what one is the issue.
Exactly
these dumb fu%^$s think they know better, big mouth zero experience in repair.
if he call it OLED i would be confuse
@pochoun33137 hey! You stole my line, its my job to troll like that 😡
It always bothers me when people say LCD replacement on Galaxy phones and late oneplus phones.
However your comment is funny since it looks like you answer someone's question haha.
Jerk Of All Trades : you all are wrong, is not a LCD or an OLED, this is new technology and it’s name is CRT.
no adhesive? added tho or did u do it off camera
good video helped me fix an old phone I broke in the past
thank you for the proper way to explain the screen assembly it was very helpfull to me. Now I got a question for you. If you can help me I have two Iphone 6 one of them is Activation Lock with apple. The otherone is free no problem. if I switch mother boards on them do you think it works

a true repairmen have experience and common sence to fix

Someone please help asap
Is it a good idea to grab some adhesive for the part where the display meets the phone?
you dont have to but the adhesive is there to protect from dust and water so it is recommended but not a must
Where can I get those gloves?
Where would I go to get this professionally done? I don’t think I could do all this lol. I dropped my x for the first time last night on the tile and the screen shattered. & how much
dylan t best buy
Will the true tone still work when you replace iphone x screen?
@1,000 subs with no vidoes thanks
Thank you, this helped me out a lot🔥🔥my dad broke and fixed his so thank youuuu
This is descriptive and very helpful
Thank you for ur time ❤
Thank you. Very straight forward. This helped me.
I tried to do this but the touch screen isn't working? Like it lights up but isn't responding
Hello, does the face id work fine after the replacement?
If the screen is unresponsive could I wait for it to run out of battery to repair it
There's no need for any programming right?
Are OEM iphoneX lcd the same? In terns of video quality?
if change lcd does it will lose the true tone?
What do you use to replace the screen adhesive with?
It’s not really necessary. The screen will be held in place very firmly. In my 10 years of phone repair experience, I’ve never had to replace or add adhesive for screen repairs
@@hekofabeardhb3478 hello.
Will i still get my true tone function and face id after replacing the scrren?

@@giwaaaaaaaa sounds to me like maybe the adhesive is not the problem… have you double checked your battery? Sometimes due to over charging or other issues, your battery may get a little swollen and maybe you can’t physically see the change in the battery, but when you place the screen down, does the screen sit nicely without screwing it in? Because it should sit and look perfect even without the screws installed. Check your battery if it looks a little swollen or fatter than usual. Let me know what happened..
I've seen multiple videos and You are the BEST. Thank you!
Thank you so much, very good view of the phone and parts.Just fixed my phone, felt like surgery.
How can i warm up the phone at home without any plate?
Should you replace the adhesive before installing the new display?
LEDs and OLEDs are LCDs. Everyone thinks they know everything geez, nice video dude. Thanks for the help.
hi how can u tell the difference between an original iPhone oled screen and a duplicate screen?
You did not mention longer screw...??
Thank you very much, I bought the display on your website and the screen arrived in the promised time, I followed the video I managed to install it successfully!
Did you need to program the LCD? Did it come with water resistant adhesive? If not reprogrammed is it 100% fully functional? Thank you.
What the heck? I stripped those screws inside can’t get them out! What do I do? What tool do I use? Help me please
i did this. and now my camera and flashlight wont work. what do i do?
So replacing my screen will fix my unresponsive issue???
I notice he didn’t put a new water resistant adhesive
So the phone isn't waterproof if he did not do that?
@@TakeCareOfYourself7 yup
@@BlackestBoyM how it looks like?
I see that
When you change screens, don’t u need to calibrate the screen? Apparently new screen doesn’t work unless you use the IPhone Calibration app
Hey can you give us a link on amazon that we can use great vid too bro really helpful
So, for the heat, what do u recommend
What about the adhesive before you put the screen back on
My face id stopped working without any sign of me damaging cable etc? I have repaired so many phones and this one just amazes me at how things stops working. Is there a fix? First it wasnt able to register my face, now it doesn't work at all.
Cable was loose and i'm able to turn on face id, but it still doesn't recognize my face. This happened after ios 12.4 update and simeltaneously with the screen change. When I restart phone it wont turn on, stuck on apple logo forever, until I hold vol up+down and power button while connected to itunes via pc.
I was wondering the same, if you swap the screen does it not recognize you anymore? Just like the previous iPhone with the home button, if you didn’t switch it it would work so therefore you had to do such
we melted the glue, should we be worried about putting adhesive after we put in the new screen?
Will you make a video for glass repair only
Where is the ground bracket on the middle top screw ?
I got the same problem
Did u ever find out what happened
My screen won’t turn on anymore now
very good video. im going to do this. how about my phone data. im going to lose my all pics?
ofc not! imagine you change a monitor from your PC, does it entail any data loss?
did you forget putting on new adhesive?
Every time I have to repair I watch this video 👏👏💪💪
Thankypu for this video its do helpful
Pls how can I get this clone iPhone x screen
*I cant power shut off my IPhone X because the screen is unresponsive what do I do?*
Has Apple bricked any X series phones after screen replacements?
Thank you for the tutorial video. I replaced my iphone x screen tonight and it only cost me $95 dollars. I will be trading it into apple for $500 dollars towards a new phone now that the screen is not cracked!
Trey Duval did you end up trading the phone in? I wonder if Apple will accept a trade in that has been opened or had work done on. I am in the same boat but had my back panel replaced. Let me know please. Thanks
Alex Ortiz I want to do the same thing, my question is how would they find out we replaced the back? I want to get my back fixed but I’m afraid that something will get messed up
sarahihk13 I would think apple has their way of knowing, maybe a serial number or some kind of marker on the back panel/housing that matches the rest of the phone and internals. And once the phone has been opened, the water proofing is tampered with and i would also imagine they have their way of noticing that too. So that’s why i would like to know if the original commenter was successful with his trade in lol. I had my back glass on my iPhone X repaired at a 3rd party walk in store and haven’t had any problems at all. They did a great job.
Alex Ortiz ive read that the theres a seal that tells them when it’s been opened, possibly the water proofing but I’m not sure
sarahihk13 that would make sense, I’m sure they have their way of telling if the phones been opened but it’s worth a try. Let me know how it goes if you do end up getting your back panel replaced. Thanks
By replacing the screen will my Face ID work again?
Well, after doing this, I get the apple symbol up indefinitely. This stops when I disconnect the front sensor assembly. I fear I wrecked the cable or something there. Any suggestions?
Did the problem get fixed? Phone working now?'
So this is for when you drop your phone and the screen doesn’t work right?
Thank you for your video. Thanks to your suggestions I was able to change my iphone display
This is a very descriptive and helpful video- thank you!!!
Good job. Do you not need to reapply adhesive when securing down the screen?
yeap
but its not necessary
@@heraldasmataciunas2831 it still going to be water resistant?
@@dudleypeart8437 Once you remove the adhesive, it will be less water resistant so I recommend reapplying an adhesive.
Dudley peart: Nope !
Just a suggestion. Mount your camera and take your hat off. The one part that needs to be crystal clear in this video is the removal of the parts from the old screen to the new screen and your camera was shaking so much it was hard to see the correct technique for removing the parts. That seems like a very important step to get right.
how much to change
Fingers crossed! Is it possible to screw this up? Well, for me maybe but let's see
thanks for this. question though: isn't the iPhone X waterproof or water resistance? wondering if not replacing the adhesive around the edge of the glass impacts that?
Here's the exact verbiage from Apple: "iPhone X is splash, water, and dust resistant and was tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP67 under IEC standard 60529. Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge a wet iPhone; refer to the user guide for cleaning and drying instructions. Liquid damage not covered under warranty."
best tutorial ever, thank you for sharing your talent.
Do you not bother with True Tone ?
WELL I CANT OPEN MY IPHONE 6 BUT I HEAR NOTIFICATIONS, LMFAO
Such a dismantling method may lead to a problem with the screen and camera loop. there is another method, in my video there is an example iphone x and iphone xs
Bro you are freaking awesome thank you so much for the iphone 10 screen replacementq fix.
I have installed my new screen and everything. Is ok o turned on the phone and than the touch screen was not responding or it would keep lagging so I couldn’t open my phone with the pin entry what could be the problem?
does new screen need to be "re" programmed from old screen data for true tone functionality.
ja khan I’m pretty sure that’s why we are all here 😂
Will the home button and Face ID work ?
kyle fulford late answer but yea
You can clearly see that it doesn't have a home button

Just replaced the LCD on an iPhone 6. Apple has definitely made it a lot harder to do now a days. Wish that wasn't the case...
Excellent video .. 👍👍.. I do repair myself ... I see the iPhone x is more Easy to fix than the previous iPhones ...
I phone 6 is the easiest one I think
Thank you bro you video helped me to replace the screen on my phone

Where can I buy this screen replacement?
Ebay
Will the Face ID still work ?
i did the whole routine without an heat gun, does anyone think thats the cause of the problem of why my display isnt showing even the i hear people sending me messages?
Try reconnecting the screens cables.
Awesome content. Just fyi, don’t wear a hat when the camera is above you. And you put the ad at the wrong spot smh
Doesn't cover the direction or placement of the little bracket /clip that rests under the middle screw on the earpiece speaker / proxy assembly..
Your the best mate
don't we need any glue to put the screen back?
right?
The adhesive seal is not absolutely necessary, however it is recommended to protect your phone from spills. It does not affect the phone to use it without that seal.
thanks bro. just installed my screen watching your video. first attempt too! 😎
Is your true tone working fine?
Paulo Lopes True Tone? What do you mean?
@@anthony2039 @Tyler Ellis these devices have a display setting called true tone display which is a sensor that reads the ambient light temperature and gradually change the display colour temperature. By doing a display replacement that setting is normally lost if you don't copy the display eeprom memory from the hold one to the nem one.
Due to that I'm asking if you still have that. functionality.
Paulo Lopes yes, my True Tone display works completely fine. Haven’t had any issues due to my replacement.
Tyler Ellis what replacement screen did you use? The one in the description?
no new adhesive before closing it up??Isnt the adhesive there for a reason?
