After the snap on car, Maxx Slash, tiny monster trucks, and this, I'm convinced Traxxas is just messing with us. I can see them sitting in a meeting: "no way, you really think so?" "I swear it'll sell. They'll buy anything and think it's great." "Best of all they'll pay top dollar regardless of how slow, ugly, or terrible it handles." "All we have to do is put our name on it and Jack the price way above anything else similar and they'll eat it up. They're really that blindly loyal." "Our marketing team can convince them up is down and wet is dry. Who wants to make up the top speed on this one?" And they'd be absolutely correct.
I respect your point of view, but I don't quite see it that way. This Mudboss is the most targeted release since their TRX-4 rigs. It's geared for dirt oval racing, which people build the current cars off the slash chassis anyway. It's not supposed to be fast, and I thought it handled pretty well. Now, when you talk about the Maxx Slash, I don't understand where the hate comes from, that is one of the most enjoyable RCs that I own to drive, it's fast (56mph) out of the box in my case, it's not a great basher in my opinion but I use the X-Maxx to satisfy that itch. The monster mini monster truck isn't my thing, so I don't have an option on it. It seems to be popular, though. Price is subjective. Sure, the Traxxas brand is going to cost everyone more, but how convenient is it to get parts? You go into pretty much any hobby shop, and you can almost rebuild every model Traxxas sells. I get it, people have strong feelings about Traxxas for X,Y,Z reasons, but for me personally, they've made getting into the hobby and experiencing different platforms easy.
@@Kmcornell23 yes it is, adapters are only supposed to be used for 4s and lower. 6s+ packs shouldn’t use an adapter. I would just prefer to buy the RC that doesn’t have a proprietary plug.
Awesome!!! I may need the pink one!!
Thanks, the pink one is the one I ordered. 😁

@@superrocketRCcould not agree more. Thanks for mature response!
@karldwilkerson Everyone has opinions. It's okay that we don't agree. It's all about having fun.
@@superrocketRC spot on!
Did you set the endpoint as per the instructions?
Endpoints were set by the factory, I haven't adjusted them yet.
@@superrocketRC yeah you may want to do that :)
@@jstump1972 it's on the "to do" list.
Holy cow awesome
😁
Is that like a circle dirt track car?
Yes sir.
With a proprietary ESC Battery plug, No Thank You.
There are plenty of batteries with traxxas plugs, such as the SMC battery I use in this video, CNHL, and others.
Just cut it off and put on your plug of choice. Or get an adapter. Is that really a deal breaker for you?
