Thank you for this incredibly helpful video! You've probably got plenty on your plate already but if you're ever taking requests I'd love to see a walkthrough of the components of the Cadwell - cables, nuts and bolts, parts of the engine. Thank you for making this content, it's a gift to everyone with a Cadwell or any other bike.
Hi, thanks, 'walkthrough of the components', will have to see what I can do - 😁 there is also the 'list of modifications you must do to a new one', could maybe do that as well. The time has also come for new fuel hoses (it's in the maintenance schecule) so maybe then.
Thanks for your reply. I was at Sammy Millers last week and AJS had a stand with these bikes on show. I did like these myself but it's a shame they are Chinese and didn't go for a 250cc. I have just bought a 1982 Honda CB250rsa, it's a nostalgia thing as I had one in the 1980's and love it. 👍
So much is made in China now you can never be sure. Apparently Yamaha have their bikes made in the same factory, described as 'their partner in China' but can't remember the name. 😁
Hi, it is 'Motorcycle Brake Pedal Cover CNC Pad For Harley Sportster XL 883 1200 V-Rod' - eBay number: 296268339338. Needs a bit of tweaking to make it fit, I built it up with small cut pieces of rubber sheet underneath and needed longer screws. Thanks for your interest. 👍😁
Thank you for this video, it's definitely helpful and helped sway my decision to buy an AJS Clubman second hand. I definitely like the idea of a list of modifications you must do to a new bike. I noticed your rear light is not stock and looks cleaner. Was it a direct swap? (not requiring modifications). I couldn't quite tell if it was the AJS round brake light from their scramblers. I'd love to know as I think it looks very nice.
Sorry forgot about this, it's a late 2017 (first of the Euro 4) but not registered until June 2020, I bought it second-hand November 2020 - not used it much but I do like it. Still running in so not going too fast yet. 😁

@@valvegeek That would be great!
Nothing like being prepared hey?

This is amazing. Thank you.
Would be good to see what upgrades can be added. Gear indicator, cameras, extra lights or mirrors. Also OBD socket ?
Fantastic Video!
Thanks!
Very nice
What brake pedal extender have you fitted?

Many thanks for taking the time to reply! And it's good to know that I'm not the only one who finds the cadwell brake pedal just a bit too low!

Interesting video, howlong have you had this AJS and what do you think of it.
