Well done Emma, I am surprised no one has made this topic easily available in the manner you have. It is a crucial subject that I thought many RUclipsrs would address in the teaching space.

When researching there were hardly ANY videos on this topic, and they seemed to make them all super slow, long, and/or complicated. So I'm really glad I've managed to help people with this video 🥰

Good morning here, and good afternoon in UK.
I just founded your videos and I am in ectasis.
British accent is the key for me to deal with my accent.
I have dixlexia and some other learning disability and my accent is heavy.
Those three things have been a nightmare for me since I decided to live in the states.
That combine with some degree of intolerance to foreigners accents in this part of the world.
If I managed to graduate from University, don't ask me how!
It is pure resilience, however is not easy with the American accent.
I feel british accent suit me better.
Thank you so much for your time and help.
I hope my comment might serve of some utility to people in the same situation.

Thanks for this. Your sentence stress video really helped. Though I still can't do those perfectly most of the times. And about this video, I used to think there were no rules on word stress but still from following patterns of different words, I was able to figure out the Verb vs Noun rule of two syllable words. The other rules except the sentence one are new to me. Again thanks a lot for these. My pronunciation has become a lot better thanks to your various videos.
One thing though, I know you mostly do pronunciation videos. But now the thing that I struggle most is punctuation while writing English, which you have probably already noticed.
