As an ex-radio guy myself, radio is not a worthwhile career, today. The pay is lousy and the number of available gigs is always dropping, as more stations go to syndicated programming.
The main numbered pots (potentiometers) with the large Blue ON / Yellow OFF (AV / 1, AV / 2, AV / 3, etc.) buttons are silent, both mechanically and electronically. The monitor section selection buttons that you hear click would most likely NOT be switched while there is an open mic situation. The broadcast console she is using is made by Sierra Automated Systems. Also her on air Electro-Voice mic is highly directional and would probably not pick up any switches on the mixing console since they are facing the rear of the microphone.
Why do you have such a large audio console you don't have any CD players or current machines I'm just curious as to why you have such an extremely huge mixing console and you didn't really explain anything else in detail?
Reason its a large mixing board its because its an older mixing board when they were using it when they did had cd players and 8 track players and turntables hook up to it.
lmao saved me 4 years of radio school

Hola Carmencita... Una question: why the mic doesn't pic all the noises you made? I mean clicking buttons, switches and so on? Thanks in advance

It's all computerized, today. CD players, if any, are simply for emergencies.
