2024 NFL Draft: ACC Second & Third Round Recap

  • The 2024 NFL Draft's second & third rounds have come to a close and saw eleven ACC players finding new homes. The night began with the Buffalo Bills selecting Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman with the 33rd overall pick. Two picks later, Clemson defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro was picked by the Atlanta Falcons. The Los Angeles Rams then traded up to select FSU's Braden Fiske. The Noles representation continued to close out the second round as the 49ers grabbed defensive back Renardo Green. The trend continued early in the third round with the Arizona Cardinals selecting running back Trey Benson with the 66th pick. Pitt offensive lineman Matt Goncalves went to the Indianapolis Colts with the 79th pick, BC's Elijah Jones went to Arizona in the 90th slot and DeWayne Carter will be going from Duke to the Buffalo Bills after being selected with the 95th pick. FSU once again came off the board as Jarrian Jones went No. 96 to Jacksonville before NC State's Payton Wilson went to Pittsburgh with the 98th pick and Kamren Kinchens going from the Miami Hurricanes to the Rams via the 99th pick.

    Verse (#19) and Fiske (#33) both being drafted by the LA Rams made my day. Benson went lower than I expected (#66) to the Cards but he's in a good place to play.
