Bought my ebike from these guys. Can't say enough about the excellent customer service. If you are anywhere near Azusa, CA, go check these guys out, you won't be disappointed. And just remember, most of these ebike companies don't have brick and mortar stores, much less people you can call for help when you need it.
Nice , my bike does 30mph with the new gearing. I used to go 35mph , I think since I went to a 12 rear cog. Gonna probably go back to the 11 for that extra 5mph. I have a huge 52t front. Full throttle with 19.5 ah battery I get 30miles full throttle easy. I have a 13.5 LG cells , luna shark pack and a saddle bag battery 6ah running samsung cells. Both batteries are great. My bike its a little carbon folding bike with a bafang bbs02. I think total weight is at 40lbs right now with both batteries. I might get the luna dire wolf pack running 21ah . Then I'll have major range.
I also ride a fat bike with the m620 motor to work. Unfortunately, I only live about a mile from work though. 😔 It does make it easy to go home for lunch though.
How was it drinking a coffee while riding? Assume easier on an ebike than a bicycle. I would def. Up the battery ah though, and perhaps go to 52v, especially with that 1000w motor. Or at minimum have a spare battery just in case.
It would be easier to sip coffee on an e-bike but we finished our coffee before we headed out. An extra battery is a great idea. Having the confidence and extra range is great for exploring. Life is better on an e-bike!
Does this bike have a shift sensor? I have only driven a single speed bike, but want more power and range. I’m just afraid damaging the drivetrain. Awesome bike!
Enjoyable video, the pit stops were a nice touch by showing new places most people have never been. The bike looks like a beast that has the power to go!
I will be converting a Trek Verve 3 tomorrow with a Bafang BBS02 and a premium 48v 20ah battery. Much less rolling resistance and a bit less comfortable. Do have a Selle Royal saddle and thudbuster LT seatpost.
How did the build go? Did you buy the bike for the build or was it already one you owned? Have a couple of beater bikes with rim brakes so I’m not sure they are worth converting.
@@wakawaka1976 build went well. I bought the bike for the build ( noted others had used it without problems). Were i to do it over i would have got a step through style frame and maybe looked at more bikes (the Trek has mostly crappy parts though the frame and wheels are good).
Is this bike an all weather bike? Can it be ridden in heavy rain, snowfall? I have a RadPower bike that I've had for 4 years, biked in all weather conditions even flash flooding, no issues. Also their weight limit is similar to this bike, which seems to be for worst case scenario. Such as, doing crazy offroading where you're jumping hills and slamming the bike down on the ground. I'm just rolling down the street, not hitting potholes or jumping curbs.
Ya? Be honest. I just bought a eunorau spectre s! Same motor, maybe? Trying to research now. Bfang m620. After full charge, flying! Half charge im going into eco mode. Learned that from ur vid. So congrats, u taught me something and hopefully now im teaching u something. 1500w motor. Down tuned to 1000w? My display shows im using 1436w. But at half battery, my bike start going into now as i can best describe into eco mode. Sp going to upgrade to second battery and unleash sport mode. Thats what im wanting out of this motor and range!
Does this fat tire bike have a larger pedal width than a regular bike? I think they call it "q factor", basically on a lot of fat tires your hips end up in a wider position that can be uncomfortable to some people. If you could let me know the q-factor measurement that would be perfect.
This Mid-Drive is no wider than all our other fat tire bikes, The pedal width is the same weather it a mid-drive or rear hub motor. All our bikes are comfortable to ride and pedals are in a normal position.
OK I cant afford that so I'm thinking of upgrading I have 2 bikes looking to upgrade perhaps u can help do u sell conversion kit for hydraulic brakes for a Rad Rover 5 ?
@@totalkaos1580 I appreciate ur reply Rad doesn't offer the kit they must want me to buy their newest Rover that comes with the brakes thanks enjoyed the video I will figure something out Lord willing of course good day Sir
I don't remember exactly. We were in the low 20 mph range for most of the ride. I tried not to use too much energy on the ride to work because we still had to ride home after work.

Entertaining and informative, nice work. Everyone should have that nice of a route to ride to work.

Are we able to unlock for off road use? What is the top speed throttle only when unlocked?

Noticed the brakes don't work. Should check into that before blasting through another stop sign.
Are these bikes made in china by any chance
Yes, as most are. They are welded up in China and assembled with Panasonic batteries, Tektro brakes, Shimano derailleur
