- Ryan Duke, the man accused of killing Ocilla teacher and beauty queen Tara Grinstead in 2005, took the stand for the defense Tuesday in his murder trial. He told jurors a completely different story from what he told the GBI in Feb. 2017 when he confessed to killing Grinstead. Now, Duke is blaming his friend and high school classmate Bo Dukes.

I really believe him when testifying. Really wish he would’ve just done the right thing in the beginning. Either way the jury got it right the state didn’t prove it’s case beyond reasonable doubt.

This man is a prime example of unfortunate childhood that is growing in America. SAD. Folks, parent up! You have decided to become a parent and open your legs, make sure you PARENT UP. So sick and tired of hearing this viscous cycle continue on! If I have to spell it out, DO NOT HAVE KIDS IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE OF WHAT GOOD PARENTING IS. Some of you folks probably won't even understand what I am saying here, which is a SADDER case. For some that have stopped the so-called viscous cycle, GOOD FOR YOU! Be different from what you unfortunate childhood was and become a better human being! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A PRODUCT OF YOUR PAST.
I’ve followed this trial since the Up and Vanished podcast came out in 2017. From the beginning people spoke highly of Ryan. Yeah he likes to drink and so drugs, but no one thought he was capable of murder. I even remember Payne (the host) mentioning his as a suspect to someone on the show, and them replying they couldn’t imagine that but could imagine Bo being the killer. I hope Ryan gets a short sentence and goes home soon, and that justice prevails.

the prosecutor had her back to Ryan while he testified, she was making noise with paper and cardboard boxes, thank God she got put in her place with the verdict. She deserved to be thrown in jail for contempt.

@@cbtx8615 she’s been fired and she’s very corrupt. She was the district attorney in Sylvester Georgia but they got rid of her ass a little too late. They should’ve never heard her. They should’ve fired her when they got rid of Jeff Hobby and some of their other police officers when they found out how corrupt they will, she was supposed to go right along with them.
Put the lawyers and jury under the jail. Worst .
I'm not saying he's guilty or innocent but what about the glove found with his DNA on it? They did find a glove in her yard right?

@@chriscallaway5521 Ok. But everything I've seen when rewatching the court videos it's said a few different times that the DNA was a match to Ryan. Is there a chance that Bo placed it there to frame Ryan? Or is the DNA test wrong?

@@chriscallaway5521 Yes, as I'm just now watching this whole investigation from the beginning and when the glove was found there was no match but it was a white males DNA. Then after the Ryan and Bo were arrested and DNA was taken from them it was a match to Ryan. I just have a hard time thinking it was Ryan. Bo fits way better.

How is he innocent? They killed a girl and burnt her body.
He murdered her. His DNA was on the clothes, gloves, etc. He knew about info that was never made publically available. He showed police the body. This is why our judicial system is hated.
