This will be fun haha. 😆 I knew I wasn’t crazy for downloading realistic reshade mods on my 4080 Super. The colors always looked off, good to see a side by side.
Bruh that texture flickering on AMD would drive me mad
Well the plastic look of DLSS drives me mad
FSR 3 flickering is super annoying, but less noticeable in 4k
But I still notice it.
I find DLSS smoother in that regard.
Can't wait to see if the 7000 series gets FSR4...
The flickering was one of the first things I noticed in the shop window. But as I looked at the street markings on the left side of each image, I noticed that with both FSR and DLSS the flickering roll; DLSS is doing a better job at masking the unstable image but still there.
Do hope AMD don't make the mistake of not optimizing FSR 4 for RDNA 3 GPUs.
This mans working through his own conformation bias on the daily.
FSR 3 looks better than DLSS and FS4 looks way better than either.
@@crash42modder63 ahahahaha. Which brings me to my next point, don't smoke crack
@@crash42modder63 yep of course it does🤣😬
I'm gunna hold off my opinions until I see your default comparison between Nvidia and AMD. Rtx Dynamic Vibrance is set to "off" by default. So what you're complaining about is a setting that most people are not using or seeing. But I do agree those colors are vastly different. I just don't know if the problem is on your end for enabling a setting that is creating those color differences.
I love the side by side video!!🎉
Me too
I don't think it makes sense to do these comparisons with filters on Nvidia. When you make everything that over saturated you affect image quality/detail.
So why in your video which is titled " I Can't Believe I Fell For The Nvidia Hype Again Dam DLSS4 Transformers Got Me Again!!"the colors look the same on nvidia like amd? I don't see the oversaturation or the reddish tint on that video.
Aaaaa right, because there was on default settings, right? 😁
Stop messing with the colors man, and do a fair comparison with all the settings on default on nvidia and amd.
If there would be so much difference everyone would notice it.
this guy is sadly complete amd bias, even though I personally want them to succeed to keep Nvidia from being more greedy, doing not equal comparisons like this is scummy.
I think he keeps doing it to get the interactions, which fair play does work because there are 165 comments including one from me about it
I dunno how many times you gotta be told you're blowing out the image with digital vibrance. If you want to compare upscalers you need like for like settings. Your AMD capture is displaying the game colors correctly and the NVIDIA side is not.
bc he is human trash lying his fans
@@Phil_529 i would of thought a capture card would be beneficial for capturing true game colours correctly for the Nvidia side.
Also, let's be fair. There could never be a "like for like" settings when comparing the two upscalers because they are using totally different algorithms. One is using a.i., and the other is not. One is using the latest version of their algorithm, the other is not. It will never be apples to apples as of right now.
Now try it on performance mode. DLSS4 will look way better
Who the hell plays on performance mode. I will never
@@elvo6217 Well that's the point. I always used quality mode before, but now DLSS4 performance mode actually looks as good, if not better than DLSS3 quality.
So that is where DLSS4 is a GPU boost.
FSR4 may compete with it but FSR3 will not.
@@elvo6217 at 4k its great.
i have an RX 7900 XTX and i can say that yeah the colors pop more and it looks sharper overall how i dont know, i went from a 2080super to a 7900xtx and the colors for sure dont look the same on my Monitor and my tv
Ive got a rtx 2060 super oc. Im thinking about switching to AMD. I own a HDR monitor that makes non RT graphics look better than RT graphics on an average quality monitor. I swith off RT and get 135 fps on my old as fk card. I'm probably going to skip this gen. We'll see how to 9070 looks.
AMD has better colors.
Hi. If I dont like the way a game looks I use "Reshade" program. It can add sharpness, tune colors up or down and much more.
Perfect example of AMD copium. Literally changes as many settings as he can to try to make dlss look worse lol
i know the lengths he goes to
Wow I thought you were bullshitting about the colors
LOL NGL - in the first minute, I thought that the left side was FSR, and the right side was Nvidia. I noticed ghosting on the left and more saturation which made me think it must be FSR. If FSR had been right updated or had in general less stability issues, I would rather play FSR. But for now, I think playing with DLSS and without FSR is better for now(I only if i must i turn Upscaling up like when a game looks really bad with 1 setting lower and run bad). Maybe FSR4 will fix the biggest problem with FSR and we can move on.
STOP turning on the insane Nvidia/AMD color filters, man.
The default games color palette is exactly the same on both cards lol.
No it isn't sadly 😔
@@Frogboyx1gaming why dont you show liar ?? why you hide all the time
@@Frogboyx1gaming i ve hade enough of you ,,you are literall human trash
There's noticable flickering on the AMD FSR (Road and Lit windows), which are not present on DLSS. And I don't know what the hell you did with the game's color on the Nvidia side, I suspect turned the saturation to max?? You don't get that wide of a difference in game color by using 2 different cards. Makes me feel like it was intentional 🤔
Yeah you can fix the nvidia colours with a decent sense of taste in colours.
That horrible fuzz, artifacting and shimmering is exclusive to amd.
Digital Vibrance is set to 70% on the Nvidia 4070 Super
Shimmering and fuzz is a Digital Foundry problem not a Frogboyx1gaming problem
@ Na, it's an FSR problem. lol But nice try
@Frogboyx1gaming 😂🤣. It's a whole lot of everybody problem.
This is a industry issue with AMD..it's why your doing these videos to show us it's not a big deal.
I think sometimes with bright colors you will lose detail.in nvidia app u can set rtx hdr saturation up.did u chect to see if that was on.i got 4070ti super and thoght about selling it and getting the new amd card when comes out.never had one.thanks for the video and keep up great work man😊
I have digital vibrance set to 70% on the 4070 super
the texture fuzziness parts aside, the image colours on the right looks more realistic to me.
Looks like i'm going to have to do FSR Balanced vs DLSS balanced myself tbh
There is clearly a difference in colors I need to do more experiments on it though
@ I've got my settings perfect now on Nvidia
I did have issues at the start however
Might actually do FSR Quality vs Ultra performance DLSS
@@Frogboyx1gaming experiments?🤣🤣
look like you want to prove yourself that amd is better than nvidia, your video are so subjectif and you even have to tweak filter on nvidia to try to prove it. you want compare quality on it ok put both on path tracing add all the feature fsr perf+fram gen for amd dlss perf+ rr+ fram gen on nvidia and let us know how it look on both side, not fps counter of course because the 7900xtx is more a 4080 at this point, but the image quality. i'm lucky to have 4090 and play cyberpunk in 4k full ultra with full patch tracing+rtx hdr not rtx dynamic vibrance and believe me that it's far away from what you say.
AMD looks indeed more lifelike than the Nvidia image.
I see the difference, great video Frog thank you for this video👍
Thanks for watching!
Thanks man for proving my suspecion with these comparisons,
Nvidia comes up with a false advertisement and their fanboys gobble that shit and flood the internet with it.
Hope there is enough 9070 stock at release.
Same I have a 4080 and wanna switch to the 9070xt even if it's a downgrade
You are welcome 😊
@@hamidious Even with the whacked out colors you can see the DLSS resolves more detail and is more stable.
FSR3 vs DLSS4 is no contest. FSR4 will be the much more interesting comparison. It’s looks good from the little bit we have seen.
are you going to pretend you dont see what he is doing ,,he added so much vibrance to nvidia because when its red like that it looses details ,,and on amd he didnt do that ,,and trying to convice it looks better on amd ahahha
@@AiVirtualBot ''obviii'' ''i like my colours more vibrant''
bbbbut look at that AMD pOp 🤣
guys a space cadet, it's like erry day when his medication kicks in he gotta ramble a lot of shit into a camera -.-
Does make for decent comedy though i must admit, and tbh playing cyberpunk without PT enabled, especially now that the 'Oil painting' effect is gone, guys insane lol
Man, just do a comparison without messing with the settings, its not a good comparison.
He was just making a point on how RT's can affect the color saturation and that happens here, just be open minded not all RT are good and the trade of is pretty apparent here. Too much RT's affects the environment Color saturation because it gives emphasis on light rays, thereby affecting the color depth of the environment....
Just finished off this video
Honestly I think the 9070XT for you might be a bit pointless unless you want extra RT performance
Because to me it just sounds like you don't like AI upscaling lol
So may as well just carry on with the XTX
Suppose you will buy it for a review tho on this channel
You're right it is subjective and i'm not about to push DLSS on anyone, it's up to them
Personally I prefer the clean image now i've experienced it & I will favour FSR 4 over FSR 3 & the benefit is the performance modes will look better
But defo i'm looking into the FSR 3.1.3 upscaler a bit more because looks a nice improvement
I'm taking a look at FSR 3.1.3 which is the latest version now of FSR 3.1
I actually think that's looking great, you should try updating FSR 3.1 games
I will look into it
@@Frogboyx1gaming You can do it for Ratchet
@@Frogboyx1gaming Looks like DLSS 4 Ultra Performance looks bad on DLSS 4 unless you combine it with Ray Recon so far
That's what I found in Spider-man 2 but in Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk far better because of the RR
So you set the Nvidia colours to something you 'DONT' like.
Then set the AMD colours to something you 'DO' like.
And then make the comparison on how the colours on the AMD that you deliberately set to look better...look better?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂..
Mind blowing stuff 🤯
I can't wrap my brain around how only his game looks like this... genuinely. I have played this game 4 times and it's never looked this cartoony. He needs to copy his HDR profile from his AMD machine to the Nvidia machine, or turn off all colour enhancing and leave everything stock, even turn off HDR for a proper comparison video.
@FanaPants my games don't look like that!
I've uploaded loads of content recently of the 4080 vs XTX and get none of this.
I just did an AW2 video where I switch from the XTX to the 4080 and my colour difference is nothing like this!
@@Spratty-wb3is I know man, I have never seen it. He just needs to take a minute to actually figure out why the colours look so different. It is VERY easy to get everything to match up.
@@Spratty-wb3is its just obvious what he's doing to try to make nvidia look bad as if no one realises what he's doing. he's a clown🤣
@@giarc00007 The funny thing is i've just seen DLSS 4 Ultra Performance looks better than FSR Quality on this game LOL
Man that is crazy, 720P - 4K...... just shows you how bad FSR is on Cyberpunk
Honestly I've been really impressed with dlss ultra performance with the new transformer model at 4k. I was getting 70-80 FPS with everything on high and medium rt, without medium rt it could do 20-30fps higher.
With ultra perf you could probably max out all the settings on the 4070s without rt or rt medium settings. With fg it'll probably be able to do path tracing?
I'd like to see how amd stacks up when it comes to using performance and ultra performance.
I don't think the new transformer model really did anything much when it came to balanced/quality since it was already pretty decent to begin with but the visual quality of performance and ultra performance has been really good in my experience.
The transformer model is really designed around Ray reconstruction..... From what I have read at least.
I don't know if I like how saturated the one on the left looks. The sidewalk/cement looks too red. The one on the left has more realistic tones but a bit too cool. I would need to turn the one on the left down a bit, and the one on the left slightly up. There's a bit more dynamic range on the left but its oversaturated tones takes away from it. For my eyes, both need to be dialed in.
i like the the look of the left side more + you can see the the lights are fucking up on the right love the vid btw will you be playing monster hunter wilds
Wow the Nvidia side looks very cartoony/fake... While AMD looks gritty and more realistic. You can really see it on the building in the background has shadows cast on AMD's side while Nvidia has nothing there. AMD side has more fog/Atmosphere while Nvidia side is blank looks fake. Also Cyberpunks FSR 3 is really FSR 2.2 so you're comparing the newest DLSS 4 to a very old FSR lol better off using XESS in cyberpunk on AMD.
Ya, I really can't stand FSR in cyberpunk because it looks blurry to me, but the biggest offender is the shimmering. Xess on the other hand doesnt bother me at all.
Colour is all well and good. I've just switch back to nvidia after a few years on amd and the fsr ghosting in cyberpunk is shockingly bad especially on the cars in motion.
I've got a 5080 preorder swapping back to Nvidia after 6-7 years (had a 1050ti in 2018/2019), I need CUDA and the better featureset but I will be keeping my current amd card, as I think the Adrenaline software is the best selling point for them rn
Went through a lot of this colour science stuff when I was buying my TV and looking at lenses for my DLSR camera. For the TV it's always about the "artist's intent" and this is what makes me question AI upscaling. Is the AI refining the image or is it hallucinating things unto the screen that were not intended. And I guess it's the same thing with whatever Nvidia is doing with their colour science.
I just bought a 4070 super and I had a Rx 6800 and after a month I have noticed that the 4070 super is much faster, but I love adrenaline. I want the best of both worlds. I will most likely get a 9070 when it comes out. Then make a call. Sorry for rambling.
i have nitro+ 7900xtx but prefer the look of xess 1.3 or 2 quality upscaling, to me xess feels like an in-between of dlss and fsr. but i prefer to play with nova lut and ultra plus 5.3 mods. BUT i use lossless to frame gen X3 from from 57 to 170 fps.
Too much RT implementation can also affect the color saturation as well and that happens on Nvidia and it's a good comparison because it should gives us an idea on how the users should interpret this sample and what should their preferences will be. The Color on Radeon is vibrant compared with the the pale color resulted to RT focus Nvidia.
And you just make a great point here, Nvidia fanboys just discredited your sample because they have no idea that their so called ever glorious overrated Ray Tracing has it's own trade of to give out as well, and you just exposed it, XD.
The nvidia look can help on lcd and amd for oled
The rotating screens on the left look beautiful compared to the right. and the reflections like from the door to the street match up but not on the left. to me it looks more washed out on the right than the left. What are the GPU's being used?
4070 Super RX 7900XTX

Unless they updated it recently or you modded it in.
Right?

You are right just changed my title
@@04KamilWyszynski20 Not all games, only games with FSR 3.1
You aren't wrong about what you're seeing I have a 4090-6950 XT and a 4070 TI and when I played my 4090 one night my wife said "Why does the AMD card look more (life like)" and that Nvidia looks more like a cartoon" she said its too clean....It kinda shocked me because I had said nothing about the color or picture as I was just playing a racing sim.
Like I have said DLSS has literally been influenced upon us. We have been told that it's better than 4k and most of us are buying weak ass Nvidia cards that basically force us to use it
@alkaline8886 how is your wife doing since getting her white stick?
the left side is much clearer, the right side can´t even read the signs. big difference.
You can read the signs when you get closer
@@Frogboyx1gaming still the left image was much clearer. the right one will make me dizzy after a while. to much blurr going on.
Amd looks so much better. Im saving for the 7090xtx
maybe like a "real" soft fur coat a vs some fake furs? that arent soft to the touch and kind of coarse
Would have been nice to make a comparison with default settings.. No color boost
Then how could I show a difference in color?
@@Frogboyx1gaming you need to at least match the color settings. 70% digital vibrance is not the same as 125 saturation on Adrenaline
hopefully fsr 4 improves alot, as dlss is so far ahead now.
however this is not an equal comparison, colours shouldnt be messed around and it should all be left at default.
I like AMD Products too for their price but this is clear bias from you (as shown in your horizon zero testing)
Unfortunately, Cyberpunk is Nvidia's cash cow and is not ideal for these comparisons. In my opinion, "FSR3" looks atrocious in CP77. Since it's not 3.1, the upscaler portion of "FSR3", detached from the frame gen portion, is SUPPOSED to be FSR 2.2 at least. However, CDPR kept FSR 2.1 in the game and it literally looks better than "FSR3." I keep putting it in quotes because it's genuinely broken and CDPR refuse to fix it because this is their Nvidia game. Same thing with Alan Wake 2 still using plain old FSR 2 and refusing any updates unless its the latest Nvidia tech. Because again, Nvidia sponsors and pays them to implement. So any time I see other RUclipsrs do a DLSS/FSR comparison with these 2 Nvidia posterboy games it's just not ideal because it's a best showing of 1 tech and a worst showing of another, intentionally so. Then you have games like Ghost Of Tsushima where the difference between DLSS and FSR 3.1 is very minimal because it was implemented correctly.
Oh I know
Facts, it was disingenuous for Daniel Owens to compare FSR 3 to DLSS in CP2077 when everyone knows that XESS 1.3 and FSR 2.1 are the best upscaling options in that game for AMD cards
@@Ireland-m5p fsr 2.1 looks horrible either way, but xess 1.3 is very useable

Glad you enjoyed it
There are flickering textures on right side, it is common problem with FSR, it is so annoying. I have RTX and I've never used any RTX dynamic vibrance etc. Looks awful, I don't like it. Screens should be the same in comparison even colors without increasing saturation. FSR4 probably fix this flickering textures and will be much better in motion and static screens.
How else am I supposed to show a difference in color?
I change clour setting in adrealin edition normaly 130 and other settings depending games but I play q90c 55 which have nice colours already
In real life u don't see that digital vibrance from Nvidia colors nowhere, so yeah, AMD looks more into realistic side of things. Seeing this video on 46' tv. Also in this game if u play with ray tracing and u enable upscalers and FG looks much worse than ultra settings native. I mean u get faded colors, ugly material on clothes, hair is washed, just like in RDR 2.
make another video like this, showing us the settings
Make a comparation gameplay side by side
AMD colors are so much better
Absolutely 💯
Nvidia is definitely more clinical looking, less realistic.
It's so ugly 😪
@Frogboyx1gaming - It's actually Fugly.
I expect there be a new nvidia AI technology that will cost $1000 bucks that will be invented and showcased on you guess it Cyberpunk that will use sophisticated AI that will fix there horrible colors. Oh and it will only work on the latest generation
NVidia is the market leader and has the the fastest GPU bar none. The question is are you willing to spend 3K or higher for a 5090? I can afford it, however I am unwilling to spend that amount of money for a GPU, it is outrageous if you ask me. I do not care what fanboys say. Plus they are producing less cards to keep inflated prices, if they wanted to they could produce more cards. Keep demand high and elevate prices monopolies do this. The last two generations I have bought AMD cards and am very pleased. The criticism of AMDs poor software back in the day no longer is true. Their software is kick ass now. AMD offers better value to performance, I do not care what anyone says. In order to use all the functionality of the NVidia hardware you need the high end cards, their midrange and low tier cards are hampered by the low VRAM and they keep lowering the BUS bandwidth..
I will keep using AMD and creating content for AMD.
@@Frogboyx1gaming Kudos to you and thanks for you're content. Keep up the great job you are doing.

I also noticed nvidia has better reflections, but personally idgaf about reflections
Clearly the colors are not the same but I need to do more experiments
1. If you could tell us how you got fsr 3.1 running on cyberpunk coz it doesnt come with it.
2. Dlss does look better in terms of image quality, but in reality dlss remove a lot of graphical features to achieve this... Dont believe me? Watch the street light below the traffic signal, even with that light volumetrics, you can clearly see past it to the building behind it, but this shouldn't actually be happening, stuff like these are what AI is good at, removing stuff coz it doesnt know whats good and whats bad, its usually waiting on input from the user to fix its errors! Things like these dont easily grab your eyes as youre basically looking for things like stability... less shimmery image.
3. Rtx Dynamic Vibrance is cool but costs fps, just like dlss 4 does. So 5-10fps loss from dlss4 and 5fps loss from rtx DV, you're looking at 10-15fps less.
xess is better
@steven7297 i had a intel a770 16gb model... xess looked so good in 1.2 version, too bad i sold it before 1.3 came out... Also xess image quality and performance is better on intel arc gpu's, confirmed this after testing xess on my 4070...

Bro, I don't understand why you are setting the Nvidia colours like this? My game looks absolutely nothing like this whatsoever, either does anyone else's online. It only seems to be you bro. You are making me think it's genuine sabotage now haha. If you sort the colours out you can see the reflections on the Nvidia side are far better as well as the flickering on the back doors and lights on the AMD side is what really lets it down, Ray Reconstruction does wonders in this game. Please spend some time in fixing the Nvidia colours bro, I promise you it is not hard at all. Turn OFF HDR on both games, as well as turning off any colour enhancing on the AMD side and Nvidia side, leave everything stock, use the same HDMI or DP port on the monitor as well to make sure the monitor isn't doing anything for a proper comparison bro. You need to stop trying to convince people about this colour science, it is not a thing Andrew. GPU companies yes do use different default colour profiles, but its NEVER enough that the average user can tell with there eye unless you have proper colour accuracy tools to get into the fine details to tell the difference. Set everything to default both cards, no HDR, no vibrance, all default. Then do the test.
