Andrea Renee : love it! Great casual soft match for a multi use concealer when you don’t want a full cake face.
This soft look is a good “mom on the go” look (which is me!) Love it. Also, I bought the target sponges after you talking about them and I’m in loooove with it!

Concealers are getting to be just as expensive as foundations.
I feel like since they got Jackie to help with the foundation they should have either gotten her help with these or at least pulled some of those shades over and put them in concealer form. They just failed when they were doing so good to get better.

I was never a fan of the original concealer, definitely gonna try this one out. The foundation is bae and I'm excited to see the new shades Jackie brings out for us
I’m all about the softer look on the weekend. During the week I’m in full on professional mode, so it’s a full beat, lashes depending if I have time. But I work in a casual setting but I try to keep the make up and clothes are dressy casual - blazer with jeans. On the weekends, it’s a tinted moisturizer - usually First Aid Beauty and a concealer, trying out the new Tatcha Pearl (usually have to use the Laura Mercier because I have some circles to hide) but no contour and no lashes.Try to keep it natural as much as possible and under 20 minutes.
The Age of Fabulous I’ve been on the hunt for good tinted moisturizers and haven’t had the best luck. It’s the best time of the year to wear them since it’s so hot and they’re lightweight.

They keep creeping these prices up on us it’s annoying. Nars concealers are now $30 around the same price as these so even when there’s a sale we still paying the same or more as 2-3years ago.😐 I do wanna see what jackie came up with for new shades. It feels like forever we been waiting but I expected it to be a year or so for production.

Girlllll. I’m so glad you came through QUICKLY with a review. First one I’ve seen on someone with a skin tone close to mine. I think we are one shade away from each other! Andrea Renee SAME! I wear chestnut but now that they’ve expanded I’m excited to see what a better match will be! I hope they send you that PR kit too so we can find out together 😂 and I want to see what you think of the new born this way powders since I know you love the one you have now, I need to know how you’ll feel about the yellow and medium/deep (or whatever their names are).
What is the point of brands sending the WHOLE foundation/concealer range?!! A few colours suited for your skin would have made a lot more sense and they could have shown the full range in a leaflet that came with the PR to show there are also more options for other skin tones IMO

Im glad theyre expanding deeper shades. But lets not be shady towards paler shades so you should still do an arm swatch for all of the shades to be inclusive. While Swatching the ones you prefer on your face still keeps ur followers that are melanated like you happy.
They should've waited to launch these to get more shade range help cause.... 😕 but great review ❤️

You’re right about not needing to purchase three concealers at that price! Only if it’s drug store. I don’t really like cream contour myself but I really don’t need it anyway. Tends to look unnatural. I’m not sure if I’ll get these I don’t think I see a shade that speaks to me.

What lipstick are you wearing? It is sooo gorgeous.
I tried holding out on this but ended up picking up several shades to try. Intent is to conceal and wear on these HOT 112 degree days. Although I appreciate the shade range, the undertones made it a little difficult for my complexion. The wear was decent, i set with Becca under eye powder and I didn’t have incredibly crepey eyes, but it’s only been one day.
I haven't read the comments but was the mahogany you had and the new mahogany match? Im curious.. or because this isn't considered a foundation, were the colors different? I hope that makes sense lol. Whatever you had b4, is the color the same as the new one?

I could use Maple or Chestnut as a concealer and probably Mahogany (or Toffee (or mix of the 2)) if I wanted to use this as foundation.
The old 'Dark' born this way concealer shade kind of looks like the new concealer shades of 'Maple' & 'Chestnut' mixed together.
I know this is about concealers but I had to pause at 5:24 just to make sure I was seeing that dark powder 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 so excited although I wish the darker shades were slightly better jmo

the foundation still always skips over me. The jump from medium light to dark is absurd, I'm always in the deep medium section that companies jump over, and even if they don't lord wish me luck finding an olive golden undertone. Thank god for foundation mix in adjusters. I can pull off fully golden but it looks better with some olive (for reference I'm about NC40-42 or Fenty 310 but with more olive)

I like the foundation, but not enough to purchase the concealer. I like my Lancome foundation much better. It's not too oily not too drying.

So you basically used the concealer as a foundation. When you put in dark spots you used it all over except your forehead. That can get very expensive given the size

SUPER disappointed in the shade range, especially bc they're supposed to be working with a darker woman of color and bc this is being marketed as a contour.... contour for who?? I mean seriously, this is Tarte level of outrageous, and again, even more insulting bc they're working with a darker person of color. Also Mahogany should have been cancelled as a color bc it's wayyy too orange. I also owned the shade in the Born This Way foundation and I finished it by using it as a color corrector. Sure would like to see people speak out against this just like Tarte....
